Back to life...

Today i am a little sad. Tia went to High School Grade 10 today (St Mary's). She has been home schooled for the past 4 years and now she is entering the world wide web of life and school and (boys!!). What i know for sure is that she is grounded. She is confident. She has a heart after God. She knows what it is to love and she is totally made up of awesome and kindness. So, the main reason I am sad, is because she is not with us during the day any more. Kirstin and Jana are still home schooled and now there is a bit of a struggle for the new picking order. I am excited (and a little afraid) to see how the dynamics will change without Tia in the school room. Please say a prayer... (for them :)

Something that i have read today that touched my heart: Col 1: As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.

I am so happy to be back in routine. It's something that really energizes me. I hope the same for you!

love and a kiss

  1. I homeschooled my girls for 4 years as well, and I miss that bonding experience all the time. Sounds like she's a great girl and that's a reflection of her mom :)

  2. Thanks for putting that verse in there today - I just read it out loud to my husband. I needed to hear it...twice obviously, once in my head and once out loud. Blessings to you.
