Today i am thankful that the new year is on it's way, that i have a bit of routine going again and that I have energy and work that i love. What are you thankful for? I was purging my scrapbook room and found a pack of unopened October Afternoon 5to9 and i am giving it away to a lucky commenter. I will draw a name on friday.

I had two weeks off from work (I work in a school) and I was thinking how hard it was going to be to get up on time, make a lunch, get ready etc. Then I decided to change my attitude and be thankful that I have a job close to home that I love, when so many others struggle to feed and clothe their families and make ends meet. It really is a matter of perspective, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteI am grateful for my parents who pick my kids up from school everyday....and feed them supper! They also send a plate home for me each night....and today there was pineapple upside cake included which is my favorite dessert! I should have taken a photo of that wonderful cake...oops...I cut into it to quickly!
