oh happy day...

yes, happy indeed. the kids have easter break and i don’t have to drive around for the rest of the week. so i can just stay at home and doodle around the house. love it. it's strange but since we have moved to canada i LOVE house. i love just being here... having coffee here and especially being in my little scrapbook room. kirstin is having her birthday on friday and she and tia is hard at work making invitations. i am very impressed with how its turning out and even more impressed with me NOT interfering. we went to north battleford yesterday where tia had her dance competition and i must say we are so proud of her! their group got a 83% silver medal and they are happy with it. of course i thought GOLD was more approriate as their dance had jaku and me crying. north battleford is 2 hours drive from PA and the landscape reminds me of Lydenburg in SA ... all the snow is melted, the geese are returning in massive flocks and the ponds are plentiful and prussian blue-cold in the fields. it's truely breath takingly beautiful. reminds me of eva cassidy's song fields of gold...

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold

So she took her love for to gaze awhile
Among the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold

Will you stay with me will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
And you can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold

I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We will walk in fields of gold
We'll walk in fields of gold

i just love eva. my scrapbook room is in disarray and i am waiting for the perfect moment to array it... LOL. if you want some inspiration i want to show you THIS AMAZING PAGE this lady, MARIA GRACE is probably my FAVOURITE scrapbooker at the moment and have been for a while. i love her outlook on life as you can see in the page. check out her blog too: Momentary Bliss. Also THIS PAGE had me laugh out loud (LOL) i just love, love, love it. Heather is also a fellow HOFner. so, this is all for today. want to leave you with this thought: Hab 3:19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]

love and a kiss

Hi Wilna,

Dis vir my so lekker om jou blog te lees, dit voel of jy so bietjie nader is. Ek dink 'n ou skoolvriendin van my en haar man bly ook in Prins Albert, Linda en Andre, ek weet ongelukkig nie wat haar getroude van is nie. Andre is ook 'n dokter.
Mooi bly,
Karin
