Relax... nothing is under control!

About this page:

I am a little short tempered sometimes when it comes to my girls and dance competitions. There's always a head piece missing, or the music for the solo was left at home or one shoe has gone m.i.a. (true stories). So when I get rallied up, my husband will dryly say: Relax! Nothing is under control.  This has become a standard saying in our household. After a whole week of dance competitions where I heard it so many times, I decided to eternalize it in a die cut.  Hence the new cuts (relax Phrases and Oh NO! phrases)  available on www.iheartstudio.ca today.

As I explain in my video, I can sometimes do the same thing again and again until I feel that I have explored it to it's fullest. This is one of those pages. I use a bunch of techniques that I have done before (as you can see in this page here) but the result is different and also new in some ways!  I mix acrylic paint and white glue and I am not sure that the glue makes a difference but  I felt that even if it hardens  the paint a little bit it will be worth it.
This page turned out so soft and sweet and I think the message is really fun. Thanks so much for watching the video! Your kind comments and support to my new approach to making weekly videos inspires me to keep doing it. It REALLY is becuase of you.
Today, I am giving away some extra cuts! If you want a little box filled with cuts (some you see here and some are from other files I created), Please leave me a comment! I will pick a name next week. Please tell me what you want to see more of in my weekly videos. My aim is to make art and make it in the most fun way possible!

New process videos by Wilna

Hi there!
This has been a busy time for me! I am so happy that Wedding season is open and Dani and I did a wedding shoot this past weekend. We also did a amazing creative shoot last night. And in June it's grad season and I am (almost) fully booked up! So many things happening... and today I have 2 new process videos to show you!

1. Studio Calico tips and tricks: Let the sunshine in:

This is one of those pages that just came together so easily and beautifully. I absolutely adore this page. I created it with two add-on kits from SC called Savannah Shore and  Outer Banks. Here's a list of all the cutfiles I used (for the little banners). Obviously, I stretched them and added some hearts and butterflies. Also, see a list of supplies at the end of the post.

1. Torn Notebook butterfly
2. Torn Notebook blank
3. Set of 3 banners

You can view the page on 2peas and on the SC blog.

2. In the mood to scrap: LIGHT

Why I love this page so much is because it did not come so easily and effortlessly. For once, I did not edit out my decision making process and show it all to you. I did edit some colorful language though. :)

You can view the page and related products on 2peas.

If you enjoyed these videos, you will LOVE my artclass. If you buy the class from here (my blog) you will get a free video extra of a tour of my created space. Just email me your receipt from 2peas. Also, if you want to know more, you can read some beautiful reviews of the class.

Here are some of the products I used in the 2 videos:

I hope you have a great day and week! THE WINNER of the tool school workshop with Jen is: sassiescrapper! I gave your name to 2peas and they will contact you and get you in the class!
