Good Monday morning! day 6 of Christmas is here!

This totally adorable little boy is sitting on my lap as i am typing this. His name is Conroy and he is visiting us for an hour while his mom has some important stuff to do. as we don't have a little guy, we sometimes pretend he is ours.
The day 5 RAK goes to... Jana picked number 21! Anna Marie Still... you won! please email me with your address!
Today's christmas journal was inspired by KIM COTHERS, a fellow hall of famer who created this beautiful digital christmas tree that you can download on her site for free! so, i thought to create my christmas wish list which turned out to be so big that i extended it to 2007! you know, valentine, mothersday, birthday, fathersday, womansday, national scrapbookers day... while we are on this topic of christmas trees... have you seen THIS cute tree? i thought it was just too cute! and speaking of wish lists, for today's rak i want to know what is on your list for this christmas? maybe you should write 3 things and send your friends and family over to read the comments! hee-hee.

i want to tell you today about the reason of Christmas John 3: 16-18"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him (the message).

for this i am eternally grateful, thankful, hopeful, joyful and saved.
till tomorrow
love and a kiss

Good morning Wilna! I'm already up to my neck in baking, but am taking a break to chat with you haha!

How cool you get to babysit a little man...see now, it must be time to have more! Muah! I'm just kidding you haha!

Beautiful page again...what a great idea for a Christmas list...

A few things on my list include new cds (always love new music), pj's, dawg shoes/sandal things...and a someday present would be a new Kitchenaid mixmaster (professional) because that would sure be handy for all the baking I'm into...

I'm so excited for Christmas! This week will go quickly I'm sure! We bought our appetizers yesterday for our appetizer night. We started a tradition the first year we were married, having an appetizer night and watching a Christmas movie and such before Christmas...we included the kids last year and they loved it! So we are super excited to do it this year too...I buy all my favorite appetizers that I never get to eat (cause I'd gain a ton!), like mozza sticks, zucchini sticks, battered mushrooms, etc...all the breaded good (fattening) stuff haha!

Anyways, I keep having to leave to answer the door (lots of people picking up trays and such today). And I see I've taken over your blog again...apparently I'm quite longwinded...oh well, what can I say? I enjoy chatting with you haha!

Have an awesome day today!

I think this Christmas is really a very special one for me and my family, it is the first Christmas where we have all kind of collectively decided that we are not doing gifts, partially because there have been very many ups and down financially and mostly because we have gone through what we have, it has made us realize that all we want and need is our health and each other. We have really gotten into the basic joys of the season and finding happiness and contentment with the little things. I know it sounds a little cheesy but, really, I think it has been the best for us, we have grown so much and come together as a family, it just makes my heart so happy!!!

I would like
1. A cricut
2. A new printer
3. A new camera

Any of the above would be awesome. But more than anything else.. I would like us to enjoy as much health as possible, since that's been such an issue in our lives.

Well I usually don't think of what I want...hehe. It is usually what do the kids and my husband need :) So when my Hubby asks it is really hard for me to come with what I want because I do not think that way. I usually think of what I need :) A couple things I have on my list though are:

clothes
a couple of movies

That is about all I can really think of at the moment :)

Love you Wilna

Hi wilna,

Well my "Dream" wish list is very very long and includes mostly scrapping stuff... BUT... this has been a bit of a rough year for us financially with the whole immigration thing so we are buying a joint gift for each other to enjoy a DVD player!! We are very excited because we are also going to sign up for Netflicks so that we will have movies delivered every month. Woohoo!

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Wilna... let's see, 3 things huh?
Ok, a new LARGE heavy duty frying pan, non stick, with a heavy glass lid.
GC for our LSS.
The Cricut, or an external flash for my Nikon D70.

I also want to thank you for mentioning the "reason for the season", because, without Christ, there would be NO Christmas - regardless of how much the retail world wants to get rid of the word Christmas. We make Him a big part of our holiday celebrations. Thanks!! God Bless!

Hey Wilna!

We're not doing much in the way of gifts this year - trying to keep the focus on family rather than presents. But of course, I still love presents (and who doesn't, right?)

So, a few things I AM asking for....

1. Lots of TV on DVD (because I never have time to watch when it's airing)
2. CDs (we love music in this house)
3. A new pink sweatshirt (all of mine are gray and I need some color in my life, lol!)

Love your Blog. Big Michael W. Smith fan! His new cd would be on my wish list but I happen to know DH is already getting it. Hoping for a Cropadile and pretty sure I'm getting it. Also searching for BG Fruitcake which sells out as soon as it hits my LSS.

Great layout! I would like a Wacom Tablet, or an IPod and that is about it. But honestly, since my husband is not much of a shopper, anything he would pick out for me, on his own, will be pretty special!

Hi Wilna

My christmas list -
1. I'd like a tidy, clean and functional scrapping room. At the moment mine is in such a mess - for some reason it has become the "dumping ground" of the house.
2. A fun filled time with my family - we've been under huge stress with the builders here for 6 months - will be great to just chill
3. a pair of crocs. Have had my eye on them for ages.
