it's a snow blowing day
and i mean blowing. The wind is doing something like 61km/h. so, here is sit, safe and sound (yes, delirious? sound) in my little room. Jaku brought me some coffee last night and i am sure it was caffeine because i only went to bed at 1:30. No, i am not asleep anymore. so i will amuse you with my wit and sparking personality. but i must say last night i did wish for a second that one doesn't have to sleep at all. just think how much i would be able to accomplish. i, however, then laid down on my bed till the feeling subsided and went to sleep.
there is some exciting things happening that i want to tell you about. First of all, TODAY, i am working on a class that i will be presenting in cyberspace on designersnotes.com. Anyone can join the class that will run from February 1 - 14. It's going to be SO EXCITING. as i said, today i am working on the project/minialbum/card. All for valentine. It's really going to freak ya'll out, it's so cute and creative. The class will cost approx us $12 (R85) which is REALLY a bargain: 2 weeks class, a private gallery and a private chat room. WOW. Go and register and we'll have lots of fun together. I will post a small sneak peek tomorrow.
i am also under a making memories deadline... and a few other deadlines (can you understand NOW why i wish one did not have to sleep) and today the snow is blowing!
i read this on Cathy Z's blog (sorry, i don't have the link) this awesome quote and i feel is really resonants with this year's theme for me: INSPIRE. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. -Marianne Williamson-
isn't this great? I saw these cards from Delaney Gates on 2 peas and it inspired me to make some. Real simple but very, very cute. Sometimes the thing that gives me the most joy is when i do something that looks spectacular, but it only took minutes. Thanks Delaney! Oh and while you are making those quick cards, why not make 2 more and you could WIN with Making Memories and the super fun going on HERE.
Can i ask you something? i am really enjoying the real and simple magazine, and they asked a question that i would like to ask you. If you had 15 minutes a day extra for yourself, what will you do with it? I have to think about this one a bit... maybe sleep? hee-hee just kidding.
love

Hi there my friend. Long time no talk. We are great this side of the ocean. My word is a continuation from 2006 - "attitude". Love ya tons and tons. My daughter says Delirious brilliant - i not listen to them yet, but she got good taste...I will try to sigh up for class - is it a certain time of day?
Love your layout below...I think you do a wonderful job in inspiring people in many ways, I know I am inspired every time I come here =)
I have to admit, if had 15 minutes to myself, I would want to be photographing something, it is so rewarding to me!!! What an adorable pic btw!!!
What a great quote! It's miserable here in Red Deer too - wind blowing, snow blizzarding etc but happily I am snug as a bug in my house ... about to go create something in my favorite room. Gotta think about that question! Kim
i'm so excited for your class! 15 minutes extra a day...journal...i feel so behind on just writing little memories down!
Hi Wilna,
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the lovely cards which I received today. I haven't even looked through them because they are packaged so nicely, sending them off is going to be hard!!
