Seasons...

This morning in church I thought about seasons. That seasons are so important to God and that sometimes you can stand on your head... things will NOT happen because it's not the right season. I grasped this early in my walk with God and through the years I have learned what patience and long suffering with joy means. I remember crying tears because of frustration with my circumstances. and in that time one day God spoke to my heart. I was looking out of the window (this was 10 years back) and God asked me what season it was. I said: It's winter. And I remember hearing Him so clearly when He said: Exactly, because that's the season. In that nano second moment I understood no matter WHAT, there is a time and a season for everything and the sooner I accept the fact, the more will be my joy and then truly, patience can work it's way in my heart. The Bible talks a few times about when the "fullness of time has come" and I understand it now. Sometimes it's the season of testing... when the dream in your heart looks impossible and unachievable... then it's time to have faith. Time to watch your tongue to not speak death (it will never happen/ it's not for me/ this is impossible), but life (i believe all things are possible with God).

So, as the season are changing into Spring, I want to remind you that just so with us spiritually and physically. I am in a season (spiritually) of discipline and God is teaching me to be quiet. So often, I would want to say my say and lately God has been teaching me Psalm 46: 10Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I know God loves me and that's why I am being trained to be quiet and trust Him. But I know there will come a time where I will speak and be bold. Physically, I am in a time of motherhood and training up my children. So I am in my home and around my home. I am also in a time where I am watching what I eat and well on my way of loosing these 10 pounds that's been haunting me(and my wardrobe) Hee-hee.
I am also in a season where I am enjoying this blog and I know it's important to God and I am doing it because I love it but also because I am obedient to God about it.

So, just thought to remind you to be patient and enduring in what ever season you are. Because one thing I know for sure: this too shall pass.

peace
Wilna

Wilna, would you believe you made my jaw drop when I read your last sentence? I'm a stay-at-home mom and I love my children dearly.... I do not want to be a go-to-work-outside-the-home mom. But, there are times when I just hit the wall...I need a break...I feel like I could explode with all the frustration inside. I call my mom to vent and we talk and she always tells me, "This too shall pass". I just wanted to let you know that your message touched me and that you're right, seasons are something to reflect upon. :-)
