Just so you know...

Tomorrow (Saturday, April 21) is Kirstin's 8th birthday! We are going to Big River for the weekend. Hopefully the ice has melt and we can do a little fishing! I love Matt Redman's music lately. Find myself listening to it over and over again. (And over!) that's why I am posting the lyrics of one of his songs that touched my heart so much, it brought tears to my eyes. Stunning. This picture here is of roses I got on Monday. These "english" roses must be one of my favorite flowers. I took pictures to preserve them for me! And to give them to you!

Have a great weekend. For those of you who wants to scrapbook and are at home tonight, head over to scrapbookingfanatics.com. There is a PARTY going on there with the Friday night crop.

I will offer up my life
In spirit and truth,
Pouring out the oil of love
As my worship to You
In surrender I must give my every part;
Lord, receive the sacrifice
Of a broken heart

Jesus, what can I give, what can I bring
To so faithful a friend, to so loving a King?
Savior, what can be said, what can be sung
As a praise of Your name
For the things You have done?
Oh my words could not tell, not even in part
Of the debt of love that is owed
By this thankful heart

You deserve my every breath
For You've paid the great cost;
Giving up Your life to death,
Even death on a cross
You took all my shame away,
There defeated my sin
Opened up the gates of heaven
And have beckoned me in

Blessings to you all!
Wilna

Your song reminds me of a song . .. "what kind of gift can I bring? my heart, my soul, my everything ... take this life as I live, and all I have to give, take this life as a worship offering ..." (not sure who it is by). Hope you have a wonderful day! And thanks for the pic of the flowers! Kim

HAPPY BRITHDAY KRISTEN! Sorry I have been so scarce but have popped in now and again when I get the chance just never long enough to message! One lesson I am currently learning in life is to slow down and enjoy the BEAUTY around us and your blog is on my daily list! Thanks for being such a blessing!

matt redman is such an anointed songwriter and performer, his wife beth has done some worship stuff as well. Have you checked out soul survivor in the UK, he was based there at that church, not sure if he still is.
happy birthday to your girl
