Our Church is celebrating it's 20th anniversary at the moment and I was asked to make some cards (10!) for guest ministers. For a long time I have been admiring Jen Jockisch as a fellow fashionista and as an artist. These cards that I made was directly influenced by her work and I loved putting the colors and papers together. I used Making Memories new noteworthy and passport papers. Just stack strips of paper n top of one another. Then I added some watercolor drips and the circle scallop is a acrylic stamp that was in a scarlet lime kit.
Actually, it's so easy to make creative cards!
Have fun!
A thought for today: God spoke these words to me today and I am sure it will mean something to you too: Psalm131: 1 LORD, MY heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in matters too great or in things too wonderful for me. 2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me [ceased from fretting].

LOVED this message by Pastor Keith Johnson yesterday at our anniversary celebrations. It's AMAZING (look for the casual christian).
