Happy Wednesday

So yesterday I spent the whole day figuring out a software configuration on my computer. It does not often happen with a MAC but like my husband so wisely put it: always except sometimes. In the end it was totally easy to correct the problem and it just reminds me we have to know how to ask the right questions. I was struggling because I was googling the wrong question. In the end, i just added ONE word and got the right response.

Sometimes we question God without asking Him the right question. There is a big difference and a huge load of frustration that goes with that. Isa 45: 11 Thus says the Lord: Would you question Me about things to come concerning My children, and concerning the work of My hands [would you] command Me?

I think it's more difficult for our mind and a blessing to our heart to just say: Psalm 131 LORD, MY heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in matters too great or in things too wonderful for me. 2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me [ceased from fretting]. And this was more for me than anyone else who might be reading it.

In my struggles with my scanner and software and stuff yesterday, I discovered 3 envelopes filled with the kit to make this sweet heart project! And today I want to give it away on my blog. Just leave me a comment!!!

A few last things:
*There is a Christmas class coming! 4 fashionistas and myself will be teachers in a month long Christmas class!!!! Registration will open Oct 28 and the class will start Oct 29-Nov 30. okay, so your post today is like getting the Sunday Times! so much news, I may just have to read it a few more times.
Wow, that class sounds amazing - and I was considering whether life would permit me some crafting time this year? Now, it's the rand (de)value that I'll have to ponder....
Temptation is teasing my imagination.

Off to peep at your JB album, and yes, I am a trifle green.

Wilna, always fun and inspiring to read your blog. I know how frustrating it is when the computer doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Glad you were able to get it all sorted out, makes you feel like you really accomplished something.

We talked about this last night at Bible study--some questions just do not have answers or answers that we can understand so we just need to step back and trust our ever faithful God.

i totally get the frustration and the wonder of the "ah ha!" moment when you finally ask the right question! and sometimes, it is just good to know that even without the right questions, God still has the answers ;)
