And the winner is...

steph said...First let me start by saying thank you for all of the scripture you post on your blog. You are such an inspiration and an encouragement to me! This year's Christmas will be a little different than years past because my husband is in Iraq. I know I will continue our usual traditions like rereading the Christmas story, lots and lots of baking cookies and candies and breads for friends and neighbors, and getting a Christmas tree.
I will have to prepare for Christmas a little early this year so that my husband will get his Christmas package on time! 2:38 PM

Today is remembrance day in Canada. We are having a lovely quiet family day. Tonight we are having friends over and I am making Trinchado. This is one of our favorite dishes. yum.
Thanks for all the comments! I made a long list and I have an idea that i will make a few "all purpose" pages. And of course some events need more than one page. Oh, the choices! : )

A thought for today: Romans 5: 1-2By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.

Blessings today!

Thank you, Wilna! I sent you an email with many more thanks:) I also wanted to add that our two year old daughter LOVES looking at my scrapbooks. I am currently working on one that journals our journey through this deployment here on the homefront. The Christmas goodies will be beautiful with all of our letters from war:) Our daughter will treasure this book for years to come.
