Hello! Today was icy and cold and thanksgiving long weekend here in Canada and I am purposefully THANKFUL. I have been watching Brene Brown's talk on Vulnerability (seriously, watch it) and it's really being thankful for the ordinary lives we live that brings joy. Also, MarcandAngel spoke to me so wonderfully and clearly:

Spend some time simply being and breathing. – The only way to live happily ever after is one day at a time.  Just be, breathe, and think not about what you’re missing, but what you’ve been given.  Happiness is something that comes into our lives gradually through the doors we don’t even remember leaving open.
Make the best of what happens. – More important than what happens to you, is what you make of what happens to you.  The more thankful you are, the more beautiful this world appears.  You must uncover the good in the bad, the happy in your sad, the gain in your pain, and what makes you grateful not hateful.

wow.  I agree that I want to live the breadth AND depth of my life. I am in awe of God's goodness and grace in my life. I am deeply thankful for Him and my life. everything about my life right now... all the happiness and the sadness.

Believe it or not, but I am working on Christmas projects already. We are leaving for South Africa in 2 weeks for a 3 week break and I want to get as much stuff done before we leave. And no, not Christmas music. yet.

But it is Monday and  for some reason I shopped for Scrapbook Products because the new Dear Lizzy is out and I. have. to. have. some. Here's what jumped into my basket:

I am already impatient to get it. Oh, and this is the winner of last week's give away:
Please drop me an email with your mailing address and I will mail it all out ASAP.

love and a kiss
