Final three fun...(and a fab prize)

Hey girls! I am so excited! One thing that Jaku has taught me over and over these past years (by his example) is to take my eyes off myself and to make a difference in someone else's life. I really value this and have to practice it often. And now I love doing it! So, today we are celebrating the remaining 3 contestants in the IDOLS contest. I emailed them yesterday and asked them to play with me, and they were SO EXCITED!
They are just the sweetest girls! Believe me when I say that by now, they are stressed out and now it's our turn to put some smiles on their faces! I want you to get to know them a little better and see what they are up to. Oh, and tell them how fabulous they are!!
SmileysHere is how it's going to work:

For today's RAK (which is going to be GREAT: all my favorite things: a notebook, my fav pens, cards, watercolors, and a few more goodies) you are going on a treasure hunt. You are going to visit each of their blogs and answer the question they are asking by leaving them a comment (yes, on their blog) I will keep track of all 3 blogs and list the names and make ticks if you commented on all 3 (and here) and all those names will be eligible for the fabulous RAK. Winner will be announced Monday!
!SmileysYou can view the treasure hunt RAK HERE!!

1. My question for you: Tell me one thing that you are thankful for today!
2. Visit Mou
3. Visit Joey
4. Visit Suzanne

It's paying it forward time. Thanks for playing!
Have a great time and a great day!
Love
Wilna

What a fab idea. Thee MMidol contestants have all done amazing things it's a shame there is only one winner :O) What am I thankful for? Many things too numerous to mention but one stands out more than anything ~ My computer! I can speak to my gorgeous daughter via MSN when she is at Uni. I can order my shopping online from Tesco's so I can spend a bit more time with my wonderful family. I can scrapbook & blog all the precious little things that go on around us and are easy to forget. I can keep in touch with my family in the North of England as well as America & Tasmania. AND I can send my hubby (of 23 years) e-mails at work telling him how much I love him :O) Vanda xXx

You are just too cute! What a fun little scavenger hunt that was! Thankful...for so much...family, friends, my home, my work,...but today, so far, I'm really kind of selfishly thankful for the mani/pedi I treated myself to. So much fun, and something I rarely do.

Oh wow what a fun game. And hey thanks for introducing the others ... wow FABULOUS ARTISTs!!! All 3 of them.

What am I thankful for today? Well the list goes on and on. Every single day I am thankful to be alive and to raise my children. I am thankful that God sent his son ... that I am saved ... that I am given a new day - a new chance to make a difference. But if you are looking for something less deep, more simple then I will say this: I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine. After all the dull grey days this sun feels simply wonderful! Oh and that I get to play tennis with my girlfriends tonight. Hee Hee

I am thankful everyday that I wake up to beauty and joy and hope. No matter what lies ahead! I can't say enough about gratitude and what a difference it makes as we all journey through this adventure we call life.
I am also thankful for new possibilities, new friendships (including YOURS!) and a creative community which has opened it's arms to me, my quirks, my offbeat sense of humor at times, and the story that I have to share through scrapping. It's really amazing...and good. =) Thanks for your fun game...you hooked me up with me 'old pal' Mou! We were Scrapper of the Year finalists together. {wink}

Today I'm so thankful for the abundant food to choose from to feed my 3 healthy boys. Not like some places where mothers grind up tree bark or feed their kids clay cookies to stave of the hunger pains (see 30 hour Famine website)I am so blessed to live in Canada!!!

Thankful... Oh that is so EASY!

I have LOADS to be thankful for. But let me share a story, a tiny one. I'll make it short. Kinda.

Last September I decided to volunteer at my children's school's library. I have no idea why. I'm not really a people person, and I didn't know the librarian, but I decided to do it anyway.

Around Thanksgiving of last year, my new librarian friend asked me if I knew anyone who was looking for a new home to live in. A nice one, with four bedrooms, a large yard, at the end of a cul de sac! WOW! Exactly what we were looking for!

So we started the process of moving. While looking for movers online, I came across a church website. The church was located not far from where we'd be moving.

They had some podcasts, which hubby and I listened to and were blown away!

We had been looking for a church for so long, and now we've found one!

I'm grateful that God chose to answer so many prayers, in such a fun way.

Today I am thankful for my family. Currently I am listening to my husband read a book to my sona dn it makes me think how lucky I am to have both of them in my life. Fridays are my favorite because there is no "rush" when my husband comes home we just get to chill out and be a family. I don't know how I became so blessed, but I am one lucky girl.

I am also grateful I spent time getting to know a friend a little better today over lunch. I had a great time and really enjoy her.

There I left comments on all the blogs!!! Wahoo!

What am I thankful for today? I am most thankful today that I don't need to worry and fret over how we will find a house in this ridiculous market that PA has going right now. Why don't I have to worry about it? Because I know that my God supplies all my needs and my trust is in Him and I know that He is going to do so much better for us than we can do for ourselves! For that I am thankful today. Because seriously, the market says 'no way'...but we know YAWEH! Wahoo!

Hope you're having an awesome day!

Hi Wilna,

I am thankful that you did the valentines class & that because of that & the internet, I found an explosion of talent to inspire me.

Also, but just as big, is a lovely fresh approach to the Bible - I am enjoying reading & pondering and taking the WORD to heart, a lot!

Thanks be to God
