Just thankful

I read this wonderful word this weekend: Eph 5: 1-2Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that. 3-4Don't allow love to turn into lust, setting off a downhill slide into sexual promiscuity, filthy practices, or bullying greed. Though some tongues just love the taste of gossip, those who follow Jesus have better uses for language than that. Don't talk dirty or silly. That kind of talk doesn't fit our style. Thanksgiving is our dialect.

I mean WOW! It's just been turning over and over in my heart and mind. Thanksgiving is our dialect. And I have been giving thanks continually these past 3 days. I want it to be my language, my dialect. I am really thankful for my life and my loves. My home, my mom and dad. My friends and family. For God's AMAZING grace in my life. I am thankful. thankful, thankful.

Got this wonderful CD from iTunes this morning. Just search for Abundant Life Church on iTunes and listen to Psalm 40. It will turn your monday into dancing! I had such a great time with the girls at Just Scrap It's spring crop this weekend. I did a little make and take with them all! I have done a heap of projects and as soon as I have time to take pictures, I will show you the sweet little book we made. I am counting the day's till Scrap in Style website opens up. You will be able to see some of my newest stuff on there. I really have been very creative!!! That's why i have not been on here as much. Slapping my hand again.

Wow! "Thanksgiving is our dialect." I love that. It fits perfectly with some things I've been reading and some of my own personal goals (namely to speak more kindly to my husband when I am annoyed or angry). Thank you for sharing with us! Can't wait to see what projects you've been working on!

Excellent scripture! And I can't believe I actually met you in person. I'm such a geek...I used to work in radio (before I was a Mum) and met/interviewed all kinds of local and international celebrities. And never once was I ever star-struck. Well, consider me star-struck! I LOVED meeting you and doing your make n' take. I have a scrapbooker crush...I hope my husband is okay with that! I love your work and the fact that you also inspire us daily with scripture is so amazing! Who knew there were so many "Scrapbookers of Faith" out there?

I'll e-mail you the picture we snapped with myself and Keli as soon as I get it off my camera (just got home tonight). And thanks for returning my mat...I would have forgotten for sure! You're awesome! Can't wait to see your new stuff.

I enjoyed meeting you at the JSI crop...you rock, girl! Do you know what inspires me the most? It's that you are a published scrapper, have won major competitions, are incredibly talented...but you are so down to earth and treat everyone so kindly.
