Live the life...

Hi all you sweet people!

I love the sun flooding my home. I love waking up and feel a reason to live! The washing machine is humming and the dishwasher is buzzing. My Tia girl is sitting next to me and reading all I am writing! Love her! (you should see the sweet smile that got!)
I headed over to the IDOLS site to vote and had to bring the whole family in to make the decision with me! OH WOW! I give all of the ladies 100%. What an awesome contest. They all used the same picture and it's anonymous! Go and cast your vote!
Please go and peep at Keisha's blog. I almost fell off my chair when I saw the stunning stuff she made. She surely is one of my favorite designers.

fun:

Tia is participating in a dance competition for the next 3 days and we will be going to North Battleford and in the middle, sneak away to Edmonton (and IKEA!!!!) for a day. So, by now you all know how much Jaku and I love Ikea. I will be getting little things to give away here! So, leave me a comment today and you might win a little fun surprise. Lets make it everyday this week!!!!!! In celebration of me getting the scrap in style DT! and life! and spring! (any reason is a good one! ) I love giving stuff away. All my friends know that. To give gifts is my love language. And know what? I see the same in my girls!

Go and cast your IDOL vote. This competition is super fierce!
Have a fantastic week!
Wilna

Have you ever had one of those days where you don't know if it's fantastic or the worst day? It's one of those days for me. First of all, I'm thankful for Easter yesterday and the power of the ressurection. Without that I can do nothing.

Secondly, I understand why you love MM so much. I just had the most phenomenal thing happen to me with them which turned a very hard day into a hopeful and grateful day. God knows what we need before we even ask.

What a great layout

xoxo~

A belated congrats to you...and you know what? I had to bring my Taylor in to help me vote, also! We looked and decided, kept our choices to ourselves, and wrote them down. And we agreed, so I guess that's the sign! Fun, fun stuff.

Wilna, thanks for being so inspiring. I need to set time aside to just be. Have fun @ Ikea. I love Ikea ... not sure why b/c I've never lived in a city with one and my first visit to their store was about a year ago.

My love language is also giving gifts! I had forgotten for a while- (about the fact that it is my love language...) when my friend Jane said to me last week (I had made a noticeboard for her and given her some fun pink tights for her daughter and a hat, scarf and mitten set for her baby son...) "Is your love language giving gifts?" I felt a bit sheepish, but she said that it was so special to know that I was thinking of her when we weren't together. I guess that it's just my little way of showing people that I care. I am trying this year to give as many handmade gifts as possible, and hopefully add that dimension to my giving!

Your generosity shines through on your blog and in your pages>..

Love your page- you never cease to amaze me with your fresh ideas and creativity! Wish someone would open an IKEA in SA!!!

Sorry for the long post- Blessings to Tia too.

We don't have an IKEA here and I would simply love one of the little tiny artist's easels (the one that you would use to prop up a small l/o or mini-album on your desk)

Yes, to give gifts is my love language too! I RAK on my blog too. My husband's love language is service. He loves doing stuff for us and spending time with us. So for me to show him love, I can't by him stuff (MY love language). I have to DO something for him- bake his favorite cookie, clean the car, clean the house, etc.

One of your greatest gifts is you, Wilna. You always are so giving and caring! I just love that about you. It shows in your art, too. That's why it is so awesome...because you are, too! Thanks for all of the RAKS, for all of your wize words, for caring to share so much of yourself. You are a great teacher!

Unfortunately I don't live near an IKEA, but have searched Ebay many times for additions to my scrapbooking room. I love your creativity, but most of all, I love your outlook on life. It is very evident that you have a tru relationship with the Lord. It shows. God Bless, Cherri
