a question for YOU...

while we planned to rise before the sun and set off to Edmonton, after the alarm went off, we (still in our dazed state) decided to change our plans. Hee-hee. and why NOT? we are on holiday. We will be leaving almost 3 hours later, but the sleep was worth it.!

so, I am dressed and while the family (jakulove) is struggling into his clothes... a quick post for today's RAK. (I will announce all of them on Friday!) WHAT is your favorite hair products? I know this sound silly, but I am always looking for THAT ONE magic product... tell me your secrects.

Talk soon

I have curly hair so I take my herbal essense extra strong hold mousse and put it in my hair. I crinkle it. I do this while my hair is still wet. I also love my straight iron!!

I love anything Dove. However, I swear by Matrix's Biolage Energizing Daily Leave-In Tonic. Have fun on holiday!

Redken Align!!!! I love that stuff. I have wavy-when humid - frizzy :( hair. That stuff straightens and softens my hair like none other! Have a great holiday!!! You deserve it :)

I color my hair (don't tell), and often use a straight iron, so I like to use Infusium 23 wash-out conditioner. Keeps it very healthy and natural looking, with much less frizz.

My favorite hair product is Aveda confixor - I have curly hair and it's a light gel that I mix with Catwalk fashionista to get the perfect hold (not to heavy - just right!) You have to get them at two different salons as Aveda is a chain that only sells their own product. I love Aveda - it smells sooooooo good. I love their shampoo too but right now we're trying not to spend sooo much on that stuff so I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner - which works well.

Hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy your Holiday! Love Kim

I keep trying new stuff as having long luxurious black straight hair is my all time desire. Hhhhmmmmm...someday. So I dont have one fav product yet. I do have a soft corner for Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately after we moved to India, we dont get it here. So I'm still discovering...Priya

I am a huge fan of Victoria's Secret Balancing Conditioner! It gets the roughest knots out and leaves my hair so soft & shiny! It's a little expensive, but it lasts so long! (I call it my special splurge! =D)

Paul Mitchell Heat Seal ... it promotes shine and increases body even in humid weather. I was especially loving this product while we were in Florida this year - it really works like it says! Also love Generic Volumizing Root Lifter (compared to Matrix Amplify). I have fine hair that often looks flat and or dull. Depending on the day and what the mood is I use one of these - spray 'em on damp hair and style with a hair dryer and a round brush. Then wow, all set to go out the door happy and pretty.

This is an easy one, Redkin anti-snap. It works brilliantly and smells like candy floss, what more could a girl ask for?
Have a great trip

I can't live without Bed Head Manipulator - Also need my Wio Straight balm by Framesi (although I use it to scrunch, not straighten), and my Sebastian Hairspray -

I'm really not high maintenence - seriously- my doo comes together in about 10 mins!

I love the Aveda go straight. My hair is naturally very wavy/curly and I use that, round brush it, and then flat iron it. People can't believe I have curly hair!

Great ?

I love to use the tre-semme hair spray for my hair. I live in Florida so there is so much humidity and it keeps it in place all day.

I use mostly natural products that don't have chemical/toxins in them...so probably my Melaleuca shampoo is my favorite hair product. I used to have a lot of problems with an itchy scalp and since switching to this, my scalp cleared right up.

Wow I went and checked out the voting today (and voted). Such talent!!! I had no problem deciding though for a change...one just jumped out at me and I loved it!

Hope you have a great holiday!!!

This is going to sound strange but I do not use any hair products other than my daily shampoo, which is Shikai. I have been using the same shampoo for 30 years. I am a comb and go kind pf person, no hair dryer for me.

I love Matrix products. They are my fave! And I also love Friss Ease and Sebastian hairspray (love the smell!). Thanks. :)

On the high end, any of the Ojon products. My hair can get so dry and frizzy and this stuff makes is sleek and silky like no other! In the average range, Pantene has always been my favorite! ;)

Not much other than Dove shampoo and conditioner and my hotbrush (which has been replaced I don't know how many times) Have a great holiday

When I had short hair it was all about Bed Head Manipulator. Now it's Bed Head Self Absorbed shampoo/conditioner and John Frieda Straight Answer. Fun idea! I'm going to try some of these...

Please come back soon, as I need my daily Wilna fix. I don't post every day, but I check in and lurk alot. I would love to have something that your precious hands have made. I know, I know, what you're thinking. Anyway, my absolute favorite is any CHI products that you can get only in a hair salon. My sister in law is a beautician, so I get a discount. The reason I love it so much is I can skip a day of shampooing with it. Don't tell anyone I said that. But as busy mom, we need a break where we can get one. And since my hair is almost down to my waist, it takes forever to style, so if I can skip a day of messing with my hair- I consider that a small miracle!
Love ya,

It's got to be silicone drops (Kair make good ones)to calm the frizz, and make my hair smooth and shiny. Helps with tangles in my little girls' hair too! Shampoo and conditioner are Kerastase when I'm feeling flush- the rest of the time good old Pantene Sleek and Smooth. Have fun in Edmonton!

I use this conditioner from Aubrey Organics, GBP (glycogen protein). OMG does it make my hair soft and shiny!! I've only ever seen it at Whole Foods and other natural/organic supermarkets.

I have to say 'tresemme' is the best. I've tried so many different shampoos and conditioners and have finally found one that I enjoy and make my hair feel good. Enjoy your trip away.

I'm still looking! Seriously, I'm allergic to so many of them (due to perfumes) and others just don't give my hair the zing I'd love! Think I'll come back in a few days and check out all of the advice -- may be a kernel in here for me, too!

=) Take care and happy journey, Wilna!

My favorite by far has been Redkin "All Soft". Never leaves any build up and leaves your hair so silky soft. Hope you have a safe and happy trip!

I usually use Pantene but cannot live without my GHD hair straightener!!!
