I made these tags last week. And today I am giving them away on the IDOLS blog!!! It's the second last Wednesdays with Wilna and I hope the post is helpful for those of you who creates under pressure sometimes!!
Our family is here is and it's wonderful! we are having such awesome moments and we love them dearly! Today we are heading out to Waskasui! eating breakfast at the yellow fender in Christopher lake. What a blast!
Some of you asked me for the Milktart recipe and here it is!
The little crust shells I got in a packet of 30 from Super store. The recipe makes about 60-70. (please don't hold me to that I am NOT good with guessing). I bake the shells for 15 minutes. You can also make a big milktart. Just get the big shells! (ha!)
For the filling: 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, 1 cups of milk. In a bowl, mix these three things to make a paste.
On the stove in a big casserole heat 7 cups of milk and some salt. When it is warm, add a little warm milk to the paste. Then I usually take a whisk and add the paste into the warm milk whisking like crazy so that it blends in beautifully! Bring it all to a boil and take of the stove. Be careful that the milk does not burn. It's better to take your time to bring it to a boil over medium heat than be impatient and burning the milk. (now HOW would I know that???!!!) While your custard cools off, separate 6 eggs. Whisk the egg whites to a fluffy state. Add the yolks to the custard, and then fold in the whites. Scoop it into the shells and bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. (i dunno what Fahrenheit that is)
Then a tought for the day: Rom 8: 38For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Bless you
I love you
Wilna
