Yahoo it's friday!

My random number generator chose numbers 35 and 22 for the RAKS.

jacqui said... well done!!!! you'll feel so much better and have more energy. I know I did when i was going to gym regularly. I've been a bit slack lately, but i'm off to gym next week to get back into feeling good!!! Well done! I admire you for it! 2:31 AM

Anonymous said...Yay! Another chance to win. : ) I guess my excercise advice would be to make the most of the small moments. I do squats while I'm blow drying my hair. I take long walks whenever I have spare moments. When I think of it I park at the furthest parking space at the grocery store so I can burn a few extra calories. I love the word for the week. It reminds me that he has already done the work... all I have to do is show up for the party. THX- Alisa 3:49 PM

Please email me you 2!!! Thanks for all the advise! Jaku and I went to the gym yesterday and and now my butt is sore!! While I was doing the squats, I was thinking of all the fat I am melting! : )

This morning I read Matt 5 and Matt 6 in the Message. Please do yourself a favor and read it. I was overwhelmed with the thought that if we all as Christians can live this way the world would embrace Christ and not label us all as hypocrites. I loved the message version for these passages. Maybe I even understood it for the first time in my life.

Matt 6:34"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Have a wonderful weekend! OH and I have ONE more box of little goodies to give away! Just leave me a comment!
Love you all!
Wilna

I have never read Matthew 6 from the Message. I love that quote from verse 34. I need that reminder. Have a happy weekend!

Thank you for posting the link for Matthew 5 on your blog today. I have never read it in the Message version, but when I read verses 3-4, it brought tears to my eyes. I really needed to read that today.

Hi Wilna,
PICK ME! PICK ME! I am SO PROUD of the effort your making to exercise (can I say that without sounding condescending?) Truly, with everything else you have going on, I KNOW it is a CHOICE and that you must make a conscious effort...

As for the scriptures, the first time I read Matthew 5 in the Message, it took me A YEAR to move past it in my Bible study! "I was drawn by the verse, "You are blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule." My prayer was that God would help me to get these truths (I mean, really "get them") before I moved on to study something else. Yep. Took a year. Maybe I'm a slow study?

Anyway, thanks for yet another chance at one of your FAB RAKs! You're amazing!

Have a nice soak in a warm bath with epsom salts to ease those sore muscles...and make sure to get plenty of fluids to help flush out the lactic acid build up. As your muscles get stronger, you won't get so sore!

OMG!!!! please pick me......... No Pain no GAIN!!! I have to remember that too every now and then everything hurts but just have to take it like a champ!!!!!!!!

Matt 6:20,21
"Store up yourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"

Matt 6:34
"Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Wach day has enough trouble of its own."

Thanks for the recomendation.

Must follow the scriptures in the times we are living in. Politics are enough to make you pull your hair out. But I know who wins in the end so I must say come quickly Lord.
Please enter me in the goodie box drawing.
