Life stopped for a moment.

Saturday June 21, at 6 in the morning, our friend Lois went home to be with Jesus. I was with her till 4am and then I left because I knew time was near. She took time Friday afternoon to say goodbye to all her children and to her husband Robin. She had no regrets. She was funny and feisty till the end and for me personally it's a loss of a beautiful friend. I loved her.
Her funeral is on Tuesday. I have the privilege to make some scrapbook pages of her to display in church. I count it as a great honor.
then
to EACH and EVERY friend out there who said a prayer or a happy thought for her, THANK YOU. For each and every one of you who took time to make her a card, THANK YOU. Her only daughter, Rachel, love and cherishes each and every card. I know it will be a keepsake for her for the rest of her life.
If you want to remember Lois, here is a little video reminder.
If you want to see all her cards, this link will take you to the card gallery.
If you want to send her family a card, please do so.

In the end she was filled with God's peace. She knew where she was going to. She new what and who waited for her. She told us that she saw Jesus and the streets of gold. Maybe it's a reminder that we all can be sure where we will end up... we just have to make that decision here and now. John 14: 5 Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way? 6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Phil 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

See you in a day or two.
I didn't forget about Friday's rak.
Love and a kiss
Wilna

I actually don't know if I want to cry or be happy right now! I'm happy for her sake - to be relieved of the suffering and pain she had to endure during her last months and sad for her family and friends who will miss her beautiful presense in their lives. I saw the video clip when she thanked us all for the cards and I could see what a beautiful person she was - inside and out!

Rest in peace Lois! :)

Our love and prayers are with Lois's family across the big sea all the way to them. We are happy for Lois that the pain and suffering is finally over and that she can be with our Lord! But we are saddened for her husband and children at this time of loss. Please ensure them of our continued prayers that will carry them in this difficult time.

I am so sorry for loss! What a difficult time for you, and your family and definately her family.

What a wonderful friend you have been to her! All the joy in the cards that were sent to her from your blog. The time you gave to her must have been wonderful for you both. I know she was a great friend back to you. What a brave, young lady! I know you will cherish the friendship you had with her.

Tomorrow will be an incredibly difficult day. I will be thinking of you and her family.

Take care,

In a difficult time like this, one battles to find the right words, but someone once said: I don't have the right words, but I'm giving you the gift of my silence!

May God bless you, and Lois' family with strength in such a sad and difficult time.

Words don't fill the space that Lois has left on earth, but her memories will live on especially through her precious family.

Somewhere up above she is watching over her loved ones and friends and now she is free from the pain she had here.

Know that Lois is watching over you and smiling that beautiful smile we saw in the vieo clip as she watches her loved ones.

Her family and yours are in our thoughts an prayers.

Lois was my dear friend, I am so happy that she had you Wilna to cheer her and encourage her. I loved her so much .Robin gave me this site to look at at the funeral. God Bless you for all you did for her and to everyone who sent her cards, she was extraordinary! So funny, thought about each word she said and never would she say something not nice about anyone. She mentored me and my walk and I will miss her! I will see her in Heaven.
Thank you again Wilna.
