Slowly getting back...

There is a certain joy for me getting back into life when everything was upside down for a while. Jaco's mom and dad went back home last Friday and the heart ache was eased a bit by the lovely weather and the fact that we spend 2 solid days on our boat. Cruising down the lake with water spraying your face is just one of those wonders of life. I am still adjusting to the idea of even having a boat. In my mind i am the: creating-art-in-my-room-all-the-time type and not exactly mrs adventurous. Although i love to fish. (By fishing i mean i dont touch any fish and we dont eat them... we catch and release the poor things.) Alas, we all have a bit of sun-burn to show we had a good weekend.

Sitting in my studio this morning, just getting back into my routine is comforting. I actually got around answering emails and right now there is a pile of beautiful scrapbook papers surrounding me. I am hoping to be creative. Even though the feeling comes and goes. That's the most difficult part for me to be creative again: Simply starting somewhere...

This morning I read Romans 5. what a beautiful refreshing word: 1-2By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.

I will blog more from now on... have a wonderful day!

Het gewonder of jy dalk by die einde van die wêreld afgeval het. Niks so lekker soos om familie te hê vir 'n vakansie nie, behalwe dalk die stilte wanneer hulle weer weg is.:)
Bly jy's terug. Kan nie wag vir iets moois nie.

Welcome back. Love the Romans 5 verse. There are doors opening here too, Big doors - that he's gently led me too.

Hugs for all of you.

that verse reminds me of how recently my dad and I took an ATV trip and walked to the top a large hill that overlooked a hidden river and standing there we said out loud a prayer of thanks to God and asked him to help us take strength from this beauty he had created and to take it with us on our days.
