loving this friday.

[I am featured on the Making Memories blog today... go and have a look...]
This week has been wonderful. Homeschooling the girls are getting just better and better. I am loving it more and more everyday. I think I discovered that I am a born teacher... for bigger kids. I love explaining the math (I always loved math), I loved teaching Tia how to study... highlighting the important stuff, making notes and studying your own notes. I love to see the light come on in Kirstin eyes when she "gets" the wipe-out game i taught her with greatest common factors. I love it when Jana reads her little hardcover story book and asks me what's a plot? Just loving it.
I made this page yesterday... doing a challenge for the MME (My Minds Eye) blog. I have a huge MME stash and loved the challenge. and i totally *heart* how the page turned out.

Francois writes: ‘Whoever draws near unto God must believe that He is, and that He Himself is the reward of them that diligently seek Him.’ Hebrews 11:6. ‘You who pursue righteousness, who seek God, look to the Rock from which you were hewn, and the quarry from which you were dug’ Isaiah 51:1. God is not lost, neither is He playing hide and seek; mankind simply lost sight of God as the Origin of their being. God is not the invention of man, we are His invention. The Creator is not far from each one of us, says Paul to the Greek philosophers. In Him we live and move and have our being. The invisible God is revealed in His Son and mirrored in us. Col.1:15, 2 Cor.3:18.
Love this! It's such good news!

Wilna, love your blog [as always], I'm typically quiet, but need to begin commenting more!!

Is that your actual writing on the layout? or is it computer journaling? I have such a hard time 'writing'.

LOVE the layout as it is just gorgeous...sure do wish we lived closer so some of your talent could rub off on me!!!

Hugs,

I did not know you were homeschooling. I left you a comment on you FB, not sure if you saw it. I think I may need some tips on teaching math. I find myself over teaching in the english/language Arts area and avoiding the math.
Love visiting your blog again :)
