Monday: pages and surgery.

This is a page for Creative Therapy. Make a page this week about your super-power and link it over there. It was mayor fun. I am drinking a double shot espresso coffee this morning.... because I am having eye surgery later today. I have a pterygium that's been growing for years. And the eye doctor said it's time to remove it. So, I will be yours (pirate) sincerely for 24 hours.
Now I am drinking coffee to get fortified... love my coffee.

THE WINNER for the Christmas papers is: TAMMY (#28)! Please email me your address. And I will mail it out this week.

I was watching the BBC Planet earth dvd's last night with my mom and dad that's visiting us from South Africa. And Something SPECTACULAR caught me eye. It was about the forests. When you go to the north pole, there are very little trees and going south you encounter the TIAGA. It's mostly Conifer trees. They said that the trees in these forests (that goes right around the world) only have 30 days of growth every year. It can take up to 50 years for a tree to grow the size of a seedling. (because there is so little sunshine) Then they said, to see the full potential of the conifer tree, you have to go 1000miles south. In the pacific north west, (Oregon) the conifers are the biggest trees in the world. They grow 10 times faster and up to 30 storeys or 100m. They live thousands of years. The biggest tree on earth is called general Sherman and is the largest living thing on the planet... weighing more than 10 blue wales. wow.

the lesson?

Malachi 4:2 (IN CHRIST) shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy. & Isa 61 : 3 that they may be called oaks of righteousness (N CHRIST) [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

if we do not get the IN CHRIST connection, we cannot live by faith and we will not grow to be oaks of righteousness. + GROW OUR Full potential.
Till tomorrow

Good luck with your surgery. I have the same thing but it has not gotten bad enough to require surgery. Apparently it is a very common ailment for those who spend a lot of time outdoors. Hope it all goes well.
Aloha, Kate
