my eye and i... and NYC.

Hi all my friends! It's FRIDAY already and i am a happy blogger today. My eye is better, amazingly better, but it's still red. Not as cherry red anymore, but I just might scare you still a bit. Let me say again... eye surgery is NOT for wimps.
I am wrapping up an assignment or 2 today and then I will start planning what to pack... because Jaco and I will be leaving for New York City on Monday!! I haven't spent so much time thinking about it, but today I am really getting excited. We will be meeting Jaco's mom and dad there as well as his brother Andre! So, it will be a family get together... and some sight seeing will be in the order of the day. I will be taking the Nikon, even thought I dont like traveling with it. We will be back for one day and then packing up again to take my mom and dad to the Rockies. during our stay there, Jaco and I are jet-setting for one day to Vancouver to watch U2 in concert. we. cannot. wait. All our traveling was booked with flight points. I am convinced that's exactly what they must be used for! : )
then
Then be sure to check my blog on Tuesday for something very exciting that I have been working on for a long time. I am so excited. Even thought i will be traveling, it will be ready on here.

Today is the last day of school for my kids for this term. Jana got up at 7:30 to start working on her goals. Now it's 9:44 am and she is done. That kid will never cease to amaze me. She is incredible goal orientated and nothing drives her like a goal. She definitely keeps me on my toes.

Francois writes : You are not a surprise to God! “...now that you know God—or rather are known by God” (Gal 4:9). We are known by Him! I believe that the gospel is much more than a doctrine; it is the power of God unto salvation. This gospel originates in the heart of God and both its declaration and the faith it stirs are gifts of God - not inventions of man. (A.Rabe) The revelation of the gospel is to know, even as we have always been known! 1 Cor. 13:12 We know that the son of God has come, and He has given us understanding to know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true! 1 John 5:20. peace to you.
