Thank you for all the feedback! I am so happy with how my blog looks. I have been searching for this template for so long. And just so you know, at LittleLightStudio we are planning another blog class for March. Only better than the last one. With every class we get better (and smarter) as to what works and what doesn't work! The color of my blog's background reminds me so much of the color in my studio. It's not pink but it's not purple. I think it's pirle. he-he. This Mac and me. Oh, how I adore this schnauzer. Even though he so needs a groom... (happening this weekend)
The past week of so I have found myself constantly fighting the blues! I am missing the warmth of Africa and I imagine walking along the dirt roads. With sunshine on my face! Sometimes I think that living in such a cold place and the Vitamin D deprivation just get to be too much in January! But then I rejoice in the word that says: Epe 5:20 Because you are identified in the Name of Jesus Christ, you can afford to always overflow in gratitude to the Father, (not for everything that happens to you but) in spite of everything that happens to you; you are not under circumstances but above circumstances because you are in Him! What happened in Haiti was also a huge wake up call for me. It makes one's gratitude levels rise right?
Here is a page I made for 2peas. Jana in her candy cane tutu... too cute. You can click on the image to make it bigger. I used Erica Hernandez: time marches on titles.
I almost done in putting together my digital class. Tomorrow we are leaving for Edmonton for the weekend. I have some serious Ikea cravings... at least that's calorie free. Speaking of calories. I have lost 6.8 pounds so far! I am so proud of myself and as a family we are eating not only foods that we love, but food that LOVES YOU BACK! - think about that for a while!
I love what Francois wrote from John 4: “Are you bigger than our father Jacob, who gave us this well?” In her encounter with Jesus her old religious identity is dramatically challenged. “Everyone who drinks from the wells of religious tradition will thirst again! That is the strength of religion and the reason religion crucified Jesus. There whole system of keeping people dependant on their hierarchy (pecking order) was condemned! Whoever drinks from the water that I give shall never thirst again, because the water that I give becomes an artesian well within you! Now that is economic ministry! It sounds like Paul, “not only in my presence, but much more in my absence, discover the full extent of salvation in your own heart!” Phil.2:12.
Talk soon! love and a kiss
