just because it's...

.

Sunday evening. Raining. Cold. And I love this weather. It 10 at night and I am wide awake. We had a lunch of chicken and salad and baguette and afterwards all 5 of us took naps. Later I took Tia and Kirstin to their ballet dress rehearsal. Aww, they loved it. Especially Kirstin as it will be her first performance. She stood on stage and waved at me profusely. Sweet sweet girl. Her heart is so sensitive and she always want to be pretty and engaging like a kitten. So, now its raining and I am not sleepy. Good time to catch up on blogging. I had some great news today. My mom and dad are coming to visit us over November and December. Oh, I am counting the sleeps.
The month of June is a biggie in our house: 3 birthdays. Jana’s on the 7th and then Jaku on the 18th and yours truly on the 19th. We love the fact that our birthdays are together for it causes a lot of excitement for at least a week. AND today was the Monaco grand prix. For you in north America, I wish you more educated. Nothing (like nascar!!) comes close to formula 1. no man can be compared to Michael Schumacher. Oh man, and Ferrari is doing much better this year. There is just one Spaniard in the way…oh, I love this sport. The best birthday present (apart form the NIKON) ever will be visiting MontrĂ©al the 25th of June. For the formula 1 of course.
So, the HOF cover is done and creating keepsakes didn’t ask one of us (Kelly, Elizabeth and me) to redo any part of the layouts. That is (according to some) a miracle in it self. We decided that its either that CK are afraid of us, or that the specifications was very well communicated. I am still waiting for UPS to come and pick up the parcel that needs to be at the Ck offices by June 1. that will probable happen tomorrow.
School is coming to an end in 2 weeks. This year surely passed like a thought. I am amazed at what Tia had accomplished in this year. I suspect she will walk away with a few awards. But I will brag on her here after the ceremony. What I can say is that she is such a joy to me. She dearly love to laugh and she turns out to be the adventurer. She even organized some horse lessons for herself. Jana is going to pre school in the fall. I wonder what they are going to teach her. I know, however, what she is going to teach them. I wish you could hear how she plays the piano. We can make some serious money with her freestyle piano playing. She is also still a big part of the entertainment in this house hold. I am teaching them to play pictionary and she rocks at it. The other 2 as well. I am blessed as this is a very important part of the Furstenberg legacy. Jaku and I are still undefeated pictionary champions. (I think!!)
So, the week is ahead. I have to meet a deadline for a page tomorrow. I haven’t started, but I know the inspiration will come to me. I have learned a Indian word “nenemoosha” that means my sweetheart or my darling. So I think that will be my page’s name as I doing it on Jaku. I am also entering the KI memories album contest as I am by now immune to album-contest-rejection. What I win, is an album. So I never loose. And making mini albums is a passion for me. So, in search of KI memories products I did a little bit of shopping on the net on Friday with my new credit card (!!!)
Ok, I am listening to Theuns Jordaan, getting a little nostalgic, but I want to tell you some good news for the week ahead.

The message bible says this about Luk 6:37 "Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults--unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don't condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you'll find life a lot easier.
Luk 6:38 Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back--given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity."
And the amplified say it like this: Luk 6:37 Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned and pronounced guilty; acquit and forgive and release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and released.
Luk 6:38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.

Just a reminder to be generous with our hearts, purses, gifts, and most important of all, our forgiveness. Because above all, we are forgiven. Again and again. Thank God for that.

Have a great day.
And week.

Love
Wilna

I don't know anything about car racing. Not American car racing, not Canadian car racing, or South African car racing. Come talk to me about baseball : )

Maddie is starting preschool this fall too, and she is also an incredible freestyling piano player. She and Jana would get along very well!

I'm thinking about the KI contest. I feel the same way about the no-lose situation... because you have an album!

You have kind words to share, always!

Hi there my beautiful friend. It is always so nice to read your blog. So encouraging. And I have no clue what is happening in F1 this year as we don't even have a working tv in the house we live in now. We moved in and just didn't manage to get an aerial connected and then we found that we have so much to do that we don't even get to playing games never mind tv, so we are not going to have it fixed. I am so impressed with all of us that none of us have complained about not having a tv in more than 4 months. love ya

Michael Schumacher who is that. What a great season so far for F1. For a change they did something to the cheat and he thought he can come away with that.
