big day for a little lady

Hi there all my sweet friends! i had a terrific weekend! I helped Sheryl to paint the decor for the school Christmas play on Wednesday... we went to church, i watched "day after tomorrow" (i was scared), i freaked out over the amazing race's final episode, i read and had wonderful meals with my family that my lovely mom cooked.
but TODAY tia is having her grade 3 ballet exam. So i prayed for her while i made it part of my Christmas album. i wish you could see her dance. she is awesome and really gifted with dancing. i think it's her sweet and gentle spirit that show through while she dances that makes it so AWESOME. so please say a prayer for her. her exam is 12:30 MST today.

this week is a busy one for me. We have dress rehearsals, the play, an anniversary, our church Christmas banquet and just life in between happening! at the moment i am listening to DNA strings... i have written about them previously, but WOW! not only are they South African, but just plain amazing! Go and watch one of their videos. then you will know they don't sing.

you see this page of the Christmas party? i did not mentioned that all the couples in the pictures is from South Africa! and of the 8 people, 4 are doctors, 1 is an attorney, 2 is occupational therapists and one is a scrapbooker. hie-hie i wonder which one is that!! Another announcement is that from TOMORROW, the 12th, i will be doing a little advent calender on my blog... in the form of RAKS. i will be picking a name each day till christmas and give away something small and sweet... just to celebrate christmas with you. it will run from the 12th to the 23rd. My 12 days of christmas to you!

i want to say goodbye with one of my favorite scriptures. Isa 30: 18And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]! yep. that's how much He loves us. WOW!

have a fantastic day and week. remember that God's mercies are new every morning.
love and a kiss
Wilna

So I admit, I have been lurking. I am a friend of Marie's(Elizabeth's sister). Anyway- your work is just beautiful and I wanted to wish Tia the very best. I have a dance studio in Ohio and found this a neat connection. I also love love love the new Third Day Christmas album, and am a HUGE Michael W. Smith fan (but an even huger Amy Grant fan). Thank you for sharing so much of your tremendous faith. Bless you and yours this holiday season!

Wilna,
I just wanted to say a BIG thank you!! I went to check out DNA Strings site and listened to the music. WOW! I think I might have seen them perform in CT when I lived there. I've been searching high and low for a gift for my Mother for Christmas and I know she will LOVE this! Baie Dankie!!!
