day 4 of christmas... and friday!

first of all, my dad picked a number for day 2 and it's number 20:Joyous!! (i counted form the first post but i did not count the deleted post - fair eh?) and then for day 3 (yesterday) i was thinking when i did the post that i would choose number 15. i mean it's sort of special! so BETH! you won day 3's RAK... would you 2 girls please email me your addies?

we had such a great time yesterday. we went to saskatoon for the morning, did some shopping... shoes for him and bubble bath and body lotion for me. but not just any bubbles and lotion. it's from fruits and passion... a very delightful and sensual store. and i totally love everything they sell. mmm and i love roses! the lady in the store wrapped the gifts (to me, hie-hie) in the most beautiful christmas green tissue paper and tied it with some straw-string. so i just took those to make my christmas journal page for today. we had lunch at our favorite restaurant in saskatoon "calories" and it was delightful. i had butternut and pear soup and Jaco had a turkey and brie signature sandwich. YUM! so, today for the RAK (Ana, rak is random acts of kindness) please tell me about your favorite food. i think food is such a great topic. who doesn't love good food? some of my favorite food is a chicken ceasar salad. and i love balsamic vinigar. oooooooo! and you?

Hi Wilna,
Sounds like you had a great trip to Saskatoon. Hmmm, favorite food, I've gotta say, either butter tarts or Kathy Borysiuk's brown sugar fudge (especially when it is made with farm cream and butter)... yummy. I realize that these are desserts, but food none the less! Speaking of butter tarts, I must make some before Christmas! Have a great day!

Hi Wilna!
Eggrolls and Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwiches (not together, though!) rank up there pretty high with me. I also have a sweet tooth, I looooove caramel and chocolate. :-)

Hi Wilna! Since I missed yesterday, can I answer that one too? Hehe...Mike & I have been married for over 7 years now. There are so many good parts of it, but some of my favorite things are the simple things...like having someone at home waiting for me when I'm out around town...or knowing that no matter what I am loved...always having someone to talk to, someone to listen to me...when I've had a rough day, having arms to wrap around me...knowing that even though I'm so not perfect, make a million mistakes, am harsh and rude when I should be kind, but despite it all, he is my best friend and no matter what, our love is for each other...Those are the things I love and cherish the most...actually there are some other things I could add, but they are best left unsaid Haha!

As for food...well, I like a lot of different foods. I don't know if I really have a favorite. Probably it would have to be oreo cheesecake or oreo cheesecake blizzards from DQ. But I suppose those would be classified as desserts...well I don't know...I'm easy to please when it comes to food...I like it all! With Christmas coming up, I am looking forward to one of my favorite meals...Turkey :D with all the trimmings...Mmmmm...

Ok, I've sufficiently made myself hungry...I better go find something to eat. Your chicken ceasar salad sounds yummy...hehe...

That is a tough question...I have lots of likes. I guess one of my favorites things is sandwiches/subs. I have always liked those. But there are many other things that I like as well :)

Love your layout! Happy Anniversary!

My favorite food is my meatloaf - I put a special glaze on top that is awesome. And with mashed potatoes, it is awesome comfort food! But I also love anything Mexican and Japanese(as long as it is cooked)!

okay food is an easy one...
It has to be a t-bone steak done on the bar-b-que with my own special sauce, placed beside my wife's potaoes that she slices up thin with her own special mix of spices and butter wraped in tin foil on the bar-b-que. It also has her special garlic sauteed musshrooms, and her amazing broccoli salad. Before the main course we start with a bowl of her homemade potatoe bacon soup.
And finally we end the meal with the Homemade ice-cream that she makes from a rich custard base with Raspbarries in it. If you decide to have a side-salad it comes with your choice of dressing her choice would be sun-dried tomatoe and oregano while mine would be raspberry vinegrette.
I just made myself really hungry so glad we'll see you at the banquet tonight.

Does chocolate count as food? If so, it wins hands down. Otherwise I enjoy any chicken dishes, a good roast lamb with all the trimmings and a good curry every now and then.
