after the blizzard...

It's amazing how fast weather can change and impact a city. Since my last blogspot we had about 20cm of snow and a blizzard that caused the world to stand still for 24hrs. The kids stayed home today ! The good side to all of this is that i had a very productive time and got lots and lots done. This picture here is of our shed in our back yard. There must be a meter of snow there. The wind blew the snow that it looked like sand in the desert. what an experience. Today it's very cold... the temp turning around -35 degrees, brrrrr.

I want to show you this amazing site that turns your handwriting into a font in 2 ticks! Check it out. I have done 2 fonts and it really works! www.fontifier.com. Now i can do some digi work in my own hand! Super cool!

the project for my class is done! I literally braved the elements to get it all done, but i am very satisfied. You will love it too. I will be posting a sneak peek soon.

Here is something you can download for FREE... who doesn't love free? Something for Valentine. By the way, For those working on a MAC, did you know that you can right click? YAY! you must just change the settings in your System preferences----> Key board and mouse------> mouse ----> set the right mouse button to "secondary" and tada!

My dearest brother sent me these pictures that he took in the Kruger National Park over christmas. Ohhhh! That's where we use to live! Seriously!

A little wisdom from Solomon to end this post. Proverbs 11 (the message) 2 The stuck-up fall flat on their faces, but down-to-earth people stand firm. The integrity of the honest keeps them on track; the deviousness of crooks brings them to ruin. A thick bankroll is no help when life falls apart, but a principled life can stand up to the worst. Moral character makes for smooth traveling; an evil life is a hard life. Good character is the best insurance; crooks get trapped in their sinful lust.

be blessed!
love

Hi Wilna,
Looking forward to the sneak peek. I tried to sign up for the class and I did register but I don't see your class listed. Do I have to sign up for the one month subscription to get the designers class you will lead? I am confused. Perhaps your class is still not up although already mentioned on the home page? I will be patient and try again.....and I won't give up.

Hehe, that was the worst blizzard I remember seeing since I was a kid. This is Saskatchewan! Things don't shut down due to snow or cold! Haha...so you know this had to be bad to have things shut down...

Wow, I'm super excited about that font thing. I've said so often that I wish I had a font of my own handwriting (bad as it is LOL)...I'll have to play with that and see if I can come up with something I like...

Have a great day!
