sunday musings...

It's sunday afternoon. Funny how things have changed in our life. In South Africa, we would have a big lunch after church and then sleep it off in the afternoon. Here, I have found that we would grab something light to eat after church and I would come home and then do my laundry, the dishes, organise my scrapbook room ect. And I LOVE it. I call it putter. puttering around the house all afternoon. I think it's because I want monday to come without too much pressure and guilt. Someone once wrote that it's not the tragedies that kills us, but the messes (and the clutter). I am NOT a hoarder. I hate clutter. My main aim in life is to be clutter free. Even my dear doctor husband sometimes jokes that if he stand still long enough, he will be dusted and put away somewhere. He, however, functions in clutter. So i made an exception that he is allowed one sq foot in our house where it will be tolerated. After all, he provides the house! yes, dear friends, i love him. Even with his messy desk.

Thanks for all the comments on Maryna's blog. She said she screamed! hee-hee. And NO, Ana, you don't have to leave a comment everyday! Only with new posts! it's just that some fun-lovin'-women are going a bit crazy over here. And I smile and sometimes laugh out loud at their sweet comments!!

1 Cor 14:1 says EAGERLY PURSUE and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]

peace to you on this Sunday.
Love
Wilna

I am cleaning today too! Getting easily distracted - but trying hard to get my studio all cleaned up because I really want to start the week fresh with a clean space! Plus I'm teaching a technique class Monday night so I don't want the gals who come to think I'm a complete mess! LOL! Will watch the Oscars tonight (not that I've seen most of the movies - it's just a thang I do every year! Love the dresses, love watching people recognized for their accomplishments, etc.)
Working on a few designs and such during the commericals and setting myself a strict (ha!) schedule for the week! Wheh! that's alot!

Yes, I need to declutter.
I have heard many a times if we have 'clean' and uncluttered space around us we feel better and can function at a higher level in our lives.
I am really trying to implement this... key word... TRYING!! LOL

Hi Wilna

Isn't it amazing how we do different things when we're in different places. I can't understand why people enjoying sleeping the afternoons away. Every now and then it's good to have a little rest, but not as a habit. There's to much to do. Enjoy your day

Hello there - today is a NEW day! A fresh start full of faith and I believe there is something amazing about to happen! I love my life and I love my family and I love LIFE! Random fact about me - I am currently on the simple abundance path and it is amazing! Another random fact about me - I hate clutter BUT generally I am the one too tired to pick things up and put them away SO it gets tolerated for a LITTLE while and then has to be sorted out! Love you Wilna and friends and THANK YOU so much for your inspiration and daily motivation - you have NO idea what an amazing person you are! Claire

Good morning. It's Monday and well, I am like your DH, I work and live in clutter. I am a hoarder. Just maybe one day I will need that 1/2 inch piece of lace for something, you know. One day when I leave this earth my family will have fun sorting out my clutter or maybe they will just take big binbags and chuck it all out - but who cares about then.... have an awesome day today. Love ya lotsa jellytots

I don't like clutter, but always seem to have a few hot spots that just collect stuff. I really need to do some cleaning, but I'm still working on my daughters Prom dress and can't tear my self away from that until it's done. Prom is next weekend.

Hi Wilna,
hope you had a great week-end.
I feel the same way we always have some sort of clutter mainly paperwork around the house in various piles.

Clutter, clutter...you know when I am pregnant something odd happens...I just want to declutter everything! (and I wanna cut my hair off, but that's not the point). So now that I've fully entered my 2nd trimester I am looking at our house that has become incredibly filled with clutter over these 3 yrs (that I've not been pregnant) and I see that we are SO having a major garage sale this spring. In fact...I already brought up a big box from the basement and plopped it in the kids room...I am starting there.

Oh and I love my Sunday afternoon naps haha! They are the best!

I am like your husband and work just fine in clutter, just call it organized chaos,we can always find what we want, at times though it drives me nuts and then.... watch out. Everything goes and we start all over.

I find it amazing that we manage all week without an afternoon nap and then Sunday requires one. Somtimes I do and sometimes I don't. Not yesterday.

neither me or my sweet husband like clutter...but isn't it crazy how quickly clutter accumulates!

I need to execute the 1 square foot rule for my hubby!!!! Not that I'm perfect or anything!

I'm glad I'm not overly obsessed with it or I would go nuts with the messes my 2 little boys make! I call it piddlin when I'm doing something but not really much of anything at the same time. Fiddle-fartin also comes to mind -hehehe!But I don't say that one! ;-)

Hi Wilna

Its with a very SAD heart that I have to pull out the running for your Making Memories book. I realised yesterday that I did not leave you a comment on Thursday.

I love your blog and will continue to read it everyday even if I don't leave you a comment.

With Love
Ana
