We have arrived.

on african soil. we had such a warm reception from my family and it's great to be here!! I have shopped at woolworths already and all I can say is WHHHHAAAAAAA!!! this still is the most amazing shop in the world! The sound of roosters in the morning... having a Wimpy breakfast... the late afternoon sun... I *heart* africa.

I took this sun picture out of the car window yesterday... This is the African sun. So tonight we are having a bbq under the stars and all I can say is that the world have not changed alot in 2 years. and yeah, they drive on the wrong side of the road here. Which is the right side btw

I'm chuckling as I read this blog today & you guys before me!!! we are a crazy lot. Love the exuberance.

PS if it wasn't for the sun shining on my shoulders, I'd be in Hinton Alberta now.... but that's another story

Enjoy spending in $$$$. That's the good part eh?

Glad to hear you arrived safely! I love Woolworths! There used to be one in Saskatoon and my Grandmother worked there for many years. Not sure if it's the same shop but it brings back memories for me! I will be e-mailing you my class review today...sorry it's so late, I just got my computer back today. Have safe travels!

Have fun - the sunset shows the beauty of God's creation. Enjoy discovering His wonder and majesty while you are there. My sister was there a few years back and said that she never felt closer to Him than when she was there. ENJOY!

Hey Wilna, hope the jet lag wasn't too bad -- otherwise tuck into the fresh orange juice!
It's so lekker to have you in the same time zone.

I'm about to start counting the days to the expo!
