Monday and it's frustrations.

I am actually one day ahead with my Christmas journal. Not that it will matter 2 months from now. So if you are the sherlock holmes type (like me) and see discrepancies on my journal entries and here on my blog... then you know what's up. Today our furnace for some reason stop working. And with -20 outside, a house can cool off quite fast. I was shivering by the time it hit 16 degrees inside (usually 21) so then I decided I need to phone someone. A friend had a look but couldn't really do anything. By late afternoon I phoned the furnace people and they send someone out. Now we have a warmer house. YAY! I also cut one finger's nail too short and it's SO frustrating to have a ouchie nail. (!!!!!!)
But at least I put up our Christmas tree today and did some house cleaning. And cooking. And some scrapping. Yep. Good day otherwise. Something that blessed me... yesterday I read Colossians. Chapter3:3 says For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. I asked God what does this mean... and the best part was when He reminded me of Psalm 91 that says :HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. So if we are in Christ, we automatically qualify for this promise. Such Good news.

Have a warm (for the northern hemisphere) and cool (for the southern hemisphere) evening!
Smiles
Wilna

hi, i'm sitting here wishing i could make you some coffee and do your chores and take care of your kids, and make food for your family and drive you around, so that you and your ouchy finger can just take a little kit-kat break and relax! love you
