Sweetness

This was my joy yesterday to pack and deliver little boxes of cookies to those people who make our lives a little easier. I really enjoyed it! and believe me... everyone in my home enjoyed it too. I am printing a few pictures also to work again on my Christmas journal. I have added a few pages to the journal... you can see them by clicking the link in the left column.

The little boxes was so much fun to do. I baked these really small gingerbread men and used it as an embellishment on the boxes. I used Making Memories metallic paint on the lids (I bought the boxes at the dollar store). I also embellished with some MM color board stickers. To finish off I used some silver ribbons and a tag I made from MM snowflake paper.

Only 6 more sleeps to Christmas!!

hi wilna

in the december issue of CREATING KEEPSAKES magazine, there are instructions on how to fold a gift box using scrapbooking paper. it is sooo easy and quick and fun to make. in my shop i have been showing all my clients how to fold boxes using christmas paper, and they all love it. i even showed my 7-year old nephew, and he could do it! give it a try, and let your kids try, and let me know how it went... never again will i buy a gift box or bag, unless i need a big one. on my blog i placed a photo that i took of the pile of boxes.
