What I am up to...

I am waist deep in tax, making stuff for the Scrap Etc event, organizing a class, driving the kids, and still trying to be a mom and wife!! So, please love me even if I do not blog as often as I like to.
I am really excited about the scrap Etc event and I just fedex 2 boxes to Monique... full of FUN STUFF for my classes. So, if you are going... YAY! The picture is of an apron I am painting for me! I love fabric painting... this here is step one: A mixture of flour and water that you draw on with a syringe. Then when it's 100% dry, you paint over it with fabric paint and after the paint is dry, you wash it so that the flour comes off and viola! you have a beautiful product. I will post a picture of each step so that you can see what I am doing. I am also painting 4 covers for journals/mini albums that I want to give away as prizes in the classes. I will show you that too.

HEY! Maybe I will even do a mini how-to-do-fabric-painting class online with a video... any one interested? mmm it will not be more than $10. Let me know in the comments so I can see if there is at least one who would like to do something like that!! : )

Ok, long since I wrote a thought for the day... this morning I read Psalm 34... what an awesome piece... :18 If your heart is broken, you'll find God right there; if you're kicked in the gut, he'll help you catch your breath. (LOVE THIS!!)

have a good day... talk soon

that apron looks so fun! a type of batik? But, what COLOUR will u choose???? the suspense is fun too. Wish I could do that Scrap etc event, it looks so unusual.

We are winding down to school holidays, so fabric painting would be really good.
