2 days

I have been in this scrapbook room (off and on) and at last I am (almost) done spring cleaning. I painted little things and altered frames and wall clocks, I spray painted even my little speakers to blend better. I covered stuff in wallpaper. I went to town. And I think the most expensive thing I did to my scrapbook room is going to be the glass for my tabletop.
Tomorrow I am going to paint my tabletop and then preserve it with glass. Glass is so forgiving with paint and glue... and general messiness.

Once I am done, I will make a little video and also take lots of pictures for a new updated "scrapbook room" gallery. I am so tired now. The problem is: Everything inside this little room is perfect. It's the WHOLE HEAP of junk that's outside in my living room that's the problem now. But the trash is going out tomorrow.

Today we read this scripture and I have been meditating on it again and again as I was busy working. Really examining my life. (why do we always love it so to examine other people and miss the huge gap in our spiritual maturity?) Anyway.... I just thought to let you in on this amazing verse... James 3: 17-18 Real wisdom, God's wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.

See you soon

This is SO funny and bizarre! Your picture is exactly (well almost exactly) what I have been collecting and am planning of putting up THIS WEEK in my scrap area! Not the same colors, but I have a white piece of wood (ledgy-thing) that I'll be putting up, I have little tins for my pens, markers, scissors, etc... I showed my hubby your pic, and he just smiled. Just proves to me that we really are kindred spirits!

*love*

ouch - that verse realy spoke to me! I tend to isolate myself from other people sometimes when I don't get along with them - without really putting in an effort to try. I reconed that it's ok to do that - as long as I'm not nasty. I leave them alone and they must leave me alone type of thing. I guess that's one of the reasons why "Real Wisdom" has escaped me for so long! I'll really have to work on this . Thanks Wilna! :)

hey,hey younger sister, Wilna,

you and me both have bright nrew scraprooms, and considering my internet has been waylaid for 3 days, I guess that was a good thing. Only thing is, my colours are a bit hectic at this time, so we'll see how long it takes to get back to neutral.
Tx Michelle, I too make like an ostrich sometimes, so that verse will be bookmarked - work in progress!
all the best to you,
c

That verse spoke to me, I tend to isolate myself even from family; I love to love from far away (if that makes any sense)wow I thought I was the only one with this problem. I love what you have done with your scrap room. Thank you again for the inspiration you are a delight.........
