Tell me today...

what did you read in God's Word today that spoke to you? To me it was this verse: Eph 2:10For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Feel free to share!

I was reading in Ruth and was just struck by how how Naomi really led by example. It wasn't having all the right words to say (although her words I'm sure held tremendous wisdom), but it was how she lived in the every day moments of life. Real life. Imperfect LIFE. And yet the younger woman Ruth had so much faith and wisdom too. They needed each other. Such a beautiful story.

Hi Wilna,
Whenever I am overwhelmed with life's circumstances, or feel like everything I try to do fails, I remember Micah 6:8...it is my "life verse"

"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To do justice, love mercy,
and walk humbly with your God."

It kind of "grounds me" and brings me back to what's really important in my Christian walk.

I read Psalm 34. It is such an encouraging Psalm and I really needed that today. Verses 1-3 stuck out to me. Becca :)

I've been meditating on Isaiah 40:29 this week and just thinking about what it really means...I even scrapped a page about it. :)

Hi Wilna. I'm Daniele and I'm from Brazil and a big fan. I'd like to share what has been my pray this week. All I say is: "God, have mercy on me". I leave some verses for reflexition, Psalm 30.10-12:
"Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper!”
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever."
Good day!

Wilna, last week our church choir, of which I am a member, sang at a Faith Festival. The speakers were very inspiring, and the choir sang a piece I just love, so I made a layout about it. I thought you might like it, since you love watercolors and scrapping, and . . . well . . . God!

Here's a link, if you want to take a peek:

Thanks for the continued inspiration!
