it's raining.

As I am sitting here typing, I hear the rain against the window. It's such a peaceful sound. Such a comfort. And just plain beautiful.
I want to show you a few things that have inspired me lately.
1. Ali's week in pictures. I love this idea and even tough I did not participate last week, I am seriously thinking of doing it. Sometime. soon. AND i totally LOVE her pages. I am thinking of getting those templates.

Live Life Inspired. Dream With Possibility! Donna Downey
2. Donna wrote: "believe in your creative potential,
enjoy the creative process,
try something new,
explore new possibilities,
but most of all believe."

3. This word: 2 Cor 12:9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

4. Giving away things inspire me. Yesterday I had a little RAK here and the winner is: Number 14: SARA!! Please email me and I will send you the file. : )

5. I discovered one piece of GENIUS that I love and use and have made my life so much easier...
it's called a Pixelstick and it's a little gadget you can download that allows you to measure in pixels on your screen. AMAZING! ( that's how I measure on my blogger blog how big my banners must be).

NOW...

we have an assignment for our blog class to ask your readers to participate in something... I am asking you to post in the comments section one or two things that inspire you. Please play!!

Love and a kiss
Wilna

Well...for my blog class I am inspiried by you because you've actually been doing the homework and i've been slacking (the truth is i've been working overtime - that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it).

In life I'm inspired by my husband who is a wonderful person and makes me want to strive to be the best I can be to create a wonderful life together.

I get inspired by people with a heart towards God...by people who in humility serve God with everything that is in them.

inspiration, for me, usually comes from -

needing to express something e.g. thoughts about people, nature or God's designs in our lives & world.

dealing with issues - I know that putting them to paper usually gets them into perspective!

I am often inspired by a good quotation or by a song we are singing in our church choir.

But sometimes, like today, I am inspired to get things done because I am furious with another person and have no better way to get it out of my system than clean out closets. So today, because I am angry with my son's teachers, I think I will end up with some really clean closets and a good stack of things to go to Goodwill, lol!

Wilna, I'm honest in saying that you are one of my biggest inspirations. I'm also inspired by other peoples's art (especially scrapbooking art), like Melani de Groot. God and His wonderful Word also inspires me, as well as my two beautiful daughters.
Love - ingrid

Hi Wilna. Love your blog and your digis!!! Congrats! I've been enjoying Kimberly's class too. Cutting down what inspires me to only two things is almost impossible, but I'll go for these: a great picture and world color (ha, ha, that covers quite a bit..)

I am inspired by life, nature, scripture, music, poetry, fashion, people, feelings.... Those are a few of the things that inspire me (I know it's more than 2, I had a hard time narrowing it down).
