Monday happiness...

*coffee and my favorite banana muffin from Shenanigans.
* A clean quiet home
* Painting hearts
* Listening to westlife... i am not the biggest fan but I accidentally discovered one of their albums on my iTunes this morning.
* Knowing that God smiles over me today (and over you too)

then tell me...

Am I the only person on the face of the earth that's NOT on facebook?
huh?

A thought for today...Psalm 119 the last few verses... Let my cry come right into your presence, God; provide me with the insight that comes only from your Word. Give my request your personal attention, rescue me on the terms of your promise. Let praise cascade off my lips; after all, you've taught me the truth about life! And let your promises ring from my tongue; every order you've given is right. Put your hand out and steady me since I've chosen to live by your counsel. I'm homesick, God, for your salvation; I love it when you show yourself! Invigorate my soul so I can praise you well, use your decrees to put iron in my soul. And should I wander off like a lost sheep—seek me! I'll recognize the sound of your voice.

I love love love these verses.
peace to you today.
Wilna

How funny! I just joined Facebook on Jan. 1 -- after literally years of urging from my friends. I've only been on it a couple of times since then, but I must admit it's a great way to touch base with people you don't see often!

So, I am a reformed, once-anti-Facebook girl who now recommends it. It can be a time vacuum, though, so you'll have to give yourself a strict time limit if you do decide to join!

I finally decided on my 2009 words... and these are the pages I created for them:

The same 2 words night after night, trying to fall a sleep were coming back to me: Simplify and Balance. I decided to pick 2! Created page #2 during the w-end to seal the deal:

And this was the left page of my double page layout...

Enjoy your week Wilna
Hugs

PS... I only joined this past summer on facebook... and don't really go on it, it's a good tool but it's not taking over my life!

I'm not on Facebook either, resisting because of the time thing, and I already have a blog. But now I've been invited by the softball parents, old college friends, current friends, women at church... sigh.

I am not - but so glad I found your blog Wilna. The stuff you have posted at Designer Digitals just blows me away...

Have a fabulous day

me neither. (I am on the edge of being a hermit.)

What a BEAUTIFUL verse.
Tomorrrow we start at our 3 schools again. a Big year ahead, I 'feel it in my bones'. I am going to hold this one close-by, for this whole week. Our school needs to move to new premises and we pray regularly - as well as for that solution.

P.S. W loves 'the river is rising" by Michael W Smith.

I just got on Facebook, and it can be kind of fun and interesting to connect with people you once went to school with. It's nice to find out what happened to all of those old classmates. But otherwise I am not that into it. You might want to check it out, just to see for yourself what it's like. But I'll bet you will probably find that it's merely "okay," and not something you can't live without.

I did have a Facebook, but was a little overaddicted, so I deleted it. Haha, so I'm not on facebook either!

Hi Wilna, what a blessing your blog is! I feel as if I was meant to find it as it forms part of what is missing for me. Love that you are an SA girl. If you need more "Leef Mags " let us know they are so easy to get to you. Love what you do it is very motivating. Thank you for your openness and your ministry Janine

I just love this photo. Awesome! I am on facebook, love playing games there and have met up with some friends from High School who are all over the world now. Still post my photos and private stuff on the blog though and prefer it that way.

No, I'm not on Facebook either. For my work, I have to spend a lot of time working on my computer, and seeing that I work from home, my kids really don't like the computer, because it takes me away from them! So I really don't want to spend even more time at the computer. There's a LIFE to be LIVED, and that doesn't include Facebook for me.

This really spoke to me this AM..."I'm homesick, God, for your salvation; I love it when you show yourself! Invigorate my soul so I can praise you well, use your decrees to put iron in my soul. And should I wander off like a lost sheep—seek me! I'll recognize the sound of your voice."

Thank-you....
