happy heart day

Happy Valentine!! I just have to show you this page I made to remember Valentine 09. One thing that I want to tell you is that my husband is NOT allowed to buy me flowers on Valentine. I think is sad that there should be a day to express love. I think it should be everyday!! So, instead of making it a commercial day, I invited friends over and decorated the table prettily and cooked some Indian creamy chicken korma and tiramisu for desert and it was just perfect.

I hope your day was filled with love and I hope that everyday will be valentine in your heart.
Much Love
Wilna

What a fun valentine's day! :)

We are just about finished building our new house (a few more weeks) and had been working at laying carpet all day. A dear friend brought over stuffed shells, salad and pecan pie and we through some table cloths over card tables and ate in our new home for the first time with two other couples. It was so much fun!

We ended the meal by reading 1 Corinthians 13 out of The Voice New Testament (kind of like the Message Bible). It was nice to hear it again with a new version. Makes you ponder things a bit.

Your border designs are just gorgeous...I would definitely buy these designs if they were in paper & epoxy sticker format ;-)

Dear Wilna:
Glad your valentines day was awesome. My husband Tom and I stayed in also; we ditched the flowers and candy also; instead we exchanged worship cds and a dvd of my husband's favorite musical; we snuggled all day watching tv together. It really is true that the simplest things are the best. Tom's favorite food is indian; can you share your recipe?
God Bless,
Rosa

I agree on the flowers thing for Valentines day - BUT I do love them, if he buys them when the kids are in the car & the street seller is so cheerful they can't resist...

Enjoy the aroma of the Korma!!!

Sounds like a beautiful day. Ours was quiet, but together and that is what counts to me!

Oh yeah, my hubby LOVED the starbucks cup box with cards! Thanks for the inspiration and instruction:-)
