Ordinary = sublime.

Something that the principle of our school said to me the other day inspired this page: we so often let the ordinary remain just mundane and we fail to see how utterly sublime our lives are. Yes... the ordinary must become sublime to us. After all things can change in a heart beat. So, i took pictures of the girls today and made this digital page.
I wrote in the page what Romans 12: 1-2 says (in the message) So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Glad you took some time out - I'm sure you and the family not only needed it but that you all enjoyed it and benefitted from it. The latest page is lovely and the scripture is confirmation for me of what I read this morning! thank you. J
