meet Lance.

This is Lance (and Mac). When I met Lance, I did not even know about the breed Schnauzer. I only new that I want to have a dog like him. That same day we "booked" Mac at Shirley's. Lance is the reason I have Mac. Lance is also 3rd in the Tour de France right now. So this morning Lance sat on my lap and I told him how good he was doing. Awesome. Love Lance.

I have a thought for you: How many times do we find it difficult to accept a kind act or gift from someone? And how much more do we humans have a problem to accept His gracious gift in the form of Jesus? Even one step further: we just CANNOT accept that all we have to do is to believe. We always feel the obligation to do something back, in a way to make up. That obligation lead to something so big in this world called religion. But God doesn't care for religion. He cares about you. and more than anything He wants you accept His gift in faith and with gladness. The way you accept a gift that you KNOW nothing you can ever do in your whole life could ever make up for it's magnitude. then you will know perfect peace. Matt 11:28-30"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." and Gal 2:21[Therefore, I do not treat God's gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]

"see" you monday!

Hi Wilna! Long time since we've chatted!

Your precious little Lance and Mac remind me of a dear little guy in my own family. Schnauzers are the dearest little dogs...Webster has become a member of the family...and the reason I'm considering studying pet therapy!

Hugs,
Paula Clare
