weekend give away.

This weekend I am spending time with my family. + I am doing some wedding invitations for a friend which will take some happy time in completing. I am also doing a RAK (random act of kindness) for one happy commenter. Tell me what you are doing this weekend or anything I need to know. I am giving away some Making Memories Mistletoe paper. It's all for Christmas (in 2 months!!) and it's beautiful.

Some good news for you for this weekend: Matt 11:28"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

Love and a kiss

This is the first weekend in many that as a family we don't have anything to do. I do believe I am going to work on my daughter's wedding album, maybe do some yardwork(closing it up for the winter) and just have some me time.

Saturday we will spend the morning at an annual Pancake Breakfast that our boy's mission group at church does to raise money. Then the afternoon will be spent watching football and getting a few things done on my to-do list. Sunday will be church then I'm doing a bridal photo session for a friend. Enough activity and enough relaxing. Should be a great weekend.

We have a marching band competition to go to tomorrow evening, and a 6th grade science report to supervise. Other than that, I am hoping to get in on a little of the world card-making day festivities.

Such a beautiful verse today!
We have Sports Day, a birthday party, a borehole repair (yes!) for the summer garden, church in the evening, and 13 cubic metres of topsoil to distribute. The fun for me, will be to plant some beautiful pink camellias with pink geraniums and silver gazanias in a pot - a welcome home gift for my in-laws ... phew. Kiss me some mistletoe for my boy 'n me, yes please!

Other than catching up on household stuff and a coffee date with my lover, I have a photo shoot today with three championship dogs... and their master.

Have a blessed day with your loved ones Wilna!

I am going to go to my Godson's wedding this weekend! He was born on my 21 birthday 24 years ago; I cant believe he is getting married! And that I will be reading at his ceremony and that my husband Tom and I have just celebrated our first year wedding anniversary!

Have a great time with your family. I had a nice healthy breakfast before going off to my local craft studio to paint a welcome frog. I am going to be scrapping this afternoon after I have played chauffer to my husband and son and take them down to watch rugby and then fetch them when it is finished. Tomorrow I need to visit a friend for her birthday and then I am not sure what we have planned yet, but will probably do something with my son and his girlfriend and also fit in some scrapping as well. You are a very inspirational person and for that I enjoy reading your blog.

This weekend I was insane enough to babysit, well I am doing it right now, for a friend of mine. So I have 3 four year old girls here, not going to bed. I am going to be so tired for my first baptism class at church. Yep tomorrow I start my journey to be baptized.

I enjoy your blog and your work :)

Tomorrow we will be at church and then some rest time and football and baseball games on here in Colorado. It should be a nice end to a very busy week! I spent the weekend helping run Junior Cyclocross Camp. The favorite activity was learning to race in mud. Many kids intentionally fell and became covered in mud gleefully. :)
