More pages and a RAK...

I took pictures for this beautiful couple who got engaged, and I made them this page as a memory. The day we actually took the pictures it was -26°C! It was freezing but they didn't mind. Just another testimony that love conquers all. I loved using Jen Martakis' Photo-a-Day Weekly Templates Set 1. If you are just starting to digi-scrap or are out of mojo (like i am lots of times) using a template really helps getting you on track!

I used Chelsea Parsons's Gray Garden Spots and made this little book of quotes. I adore those little drawings that reminds me so much of Beatrix Potter. Actually I am learning some more about Photoshop with Jessica Sprague's Digi: In Deep - Self-Paced class and this is one of the assignments. I am learning so much! I would totally recommend taking one of her classes when you start digital scrapbooking. so worth it.

You can click the images to see it bigger + credits

Some fun news is that my butterfly page is still Number 1 by views (for the 4th day in a row) over at 2peas. : )

Today I am giving away a little goodie bag filled with Making Memories embellishments. Leave me a comment about your dreams for 2010.

Proverbs 14: 1 EVERY WISE woman builds
her house, but the foolish one tears it
down with her own hands (or mouth).

My dream for 2010 is super simple: happiness. I want it to be a good year filled with laughter, friends, books, hope, crafting, and success.

I always wish for Joy, in life, and Joy in my children's lives as they grow up. My daughter is 3 1/2, so while there is joy, there is also much screaming, tears, the occasional foot stomping and 'I can do it by myself!!'

Therefore in 2010 I also dream for peace, tranquility, patience, and a good night's sleep!!

Wow! It is inspiring to read all these comments so far. And my heart goes out to the moms who have little ones in Heaven already. I hope they are blessed with babies to hold in their arms here.
I really like your page and think I should try those templates in my digital scrapbooking. It would make the design process so much easier.
For 2010, I hope to get healthier, see my husband have a new job that he likes, enjoy my kida more, and grow in the Lord. Your verses on your blog posts are great. Thanks for encouraging us with those Words of life.
Thanks also for the chance at a prize. Blessings! Julia Irene

Hi Wilna,
I have not commented here in a while, although I do read your blog regularly. Your 3 girls are the same ages as my 3, so I love to see what they are doing. My dreams for 2010 are to 'celebrate' more - all things, little and big, good and yes, even not so good, as i've learned much growth comes from those things that are challenges. Celebrate is my word for 2010.

I love reading your blog. It is my almost daily stop for inspiration, both scrapwise and spiritually!
My word for 2010 is dream!
That is my dream for 2010, to simply remember to dream. At my age it is the one thing we forget to do - because most of the dreams we had as youngsters have either come true ( thank you God) or they were not meant to come true in the first place.
I dream for my daughter to finally get the opportunity to go to the Common Wealth Games after so many years of hard work and dissapointments. I dream for each of my children to fulfill at least one of their dreams.
For myself, I pray that God will awaken a new dream in my heart, one that is according to His will.

First of all...Happy New Year Wilna!

My dream(s) for 2010 is to spend more time with friends & family. For the last 3,5 years we were so occupied in work (@work & in the church) that there was no time for quality friendship. And i believe that "koinonia"is so important in The Kingdom of our Lord...so......here's to love and friendship with friends and family!!!

Be blessed!

My dream for 2010 is Harmony. It is also my word for 2010. Harmony in the world of course but also with my family. So much energy is wasted for little or not so little misunderstanding. Life is precious and should not be taken for granted. Harmony also with my health; eat well, live well.

Happy New Year Wilna! For 2010 my goal is to not just be alive but have life abundantly. To not just fall into the rut of my everyday routine but to truely live each day to the fullest! Last year my word was 'surrender' and in surrendering the Lord led me to a mission field in Africa. What will He do with me this year? -Alisa
