First snow winter pictures.

So, today we went out to Little Red which is a wonderful and beautiful park just out of town and we all goofed and played and took pictures. More than anything, it's a high treat for Mac. He almost attacked people twice with his fierce love. And that's exactly how it goes: he will run furiously to someone just to be so happy to meet them. I usually yell "friendly dog!". Oh we just adore him! All of us.
I loved editing these pictures. And most of all, i love seeing them all together like this. This is a screen shot of my facebook thumbnails.

There are a few things that i have learned lately:

  • worry is actually a prayer for chaos. So, let's not even go there. I love what Phil 4:6  and 7 says in the message: Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life
  • Seek not to change the world but change your mind about the world. How many times have we thought, if only i live there, or have that or do this, i will be happy. NO. We have to learn the joy of the here and now. That's what is called a miracle.
  • Forgive. When was the last time that we just thought about forgiveness? "today we practice learning to forgive. If you are willing, you can learn today to take the key to happiness and use it on your own behalf." A miracle happens in our own hearts and mind when we forgive and release and accept. Even if you don't know exactly how to go about forgiving, take time and tell God that you are willing to learn and that He must teach you how. And He will. : )
  • Insistence means investing. What are we insisting upon? Stop engaging in the negative perceptions of other people. Let it go. Insist in knowing God's message of hope, peace and love. ...how much more may we now seize the advantage to reign in righteousness in this life through that one act of Christ, who declared us innocent by His grace. Grace is out of all proportion in superiority to the transgression. The conclusion is clear: it took just one offence to condemn mankind; one act of righteousness declares the same mankind innocent. Rom 5: 17&18

Just a few thoughts for today.
hey. leave me a comment. i would love to hear what you think. : )

yep, i am loving this post too. i've been learning about living in faith instead of living in fear/worry/doubt. Faith is believing in God's word, surrendering to it, and acting accordingly. So often we wonder why we can't "do" life the way we want, but we skip the first 2 things! i've been working on that. figure it's a good thing to focus on for the holidays too! thanks for sharing :)
