christmas in February...

can you believe it, but I am making Christmas stuff!! all for a Making Memories book. So, it's fun and exciting and I am loving it! Yesterday's comments were awesome! I read and re-read them the whole day. I would click to read the newest comment and then realize I read them all again. Thanks so much. You girls have some depth that is not common. This little image here is a copy from a little booklet I bought at shoppers drug mart awhile back. The "tiger" quote also comes from it. I am always on the lookout for little inspirations for pages and page titles. The little book is called LIVE like you were dying by Tim Nichols and Graig Wiseman. It came with a CD by Tim McGraw with a song of the same title. Very inspiring. Ok, so short post today. Lots of work for me. The kids have a day off today and Jaku is also working only this afternoon so I have the whole family here. JOY! my girls are wonderful companions and they know by now not to bother me too much while I am working.

Love deeper: you can't control the length of your life... just the DEPTH.

this must be one of my all time favorite sayings. I am all for deep. Significant. Meaningful. Uncommon. Exceptional. What's your favorite saying? Tell me. For yesterday's rak, Jaku picked number 40! So INGRID! please email me your address!

Have a great day!
Love
Wilna

Hmm.. Don't really have a favorite saying - but I do love quotes and anicdotes - heard this one today: "A vigorous five-mile walk will do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy adult than all the medicine and psycology in the world." Paul Dudley White, M.D..
Kind of hit home with me - I've been having a hard time getting out of bed in the morning this week, kind of unmotivated, feel like I need a concrete higher purpose.
But after reading this quote, I think maybe I just need a vigorous five-mile walk!
Have fun working on your MM book assignments!

I have a LOVE for all kinds of sayings.....so to pick one is hard.
I tell myself daily when I wake up - LIVE TODAY TO THE FULLEST!
And, about noon I remind myself to BREATHE DEEP.

Hi everyone

I often think of my favourites, because there was a time long ago, when I used at least two a month for gift tags...

For today, the first quote that comes to mind is:

'Be still & know that I am God'

Blessings to all who are ill, faraway or lonely,
Caro

Hi Wilna,
My favourite saying is:
"Make new friends but keep the old; the new are silver, the old are gold." I even did a cross stitch of this saying. I love keeping in touch with my "golden" friends.
Love the notebook you made for the marriage conference.

For me it would be a saying from a fortune cookie -
"wise men learn more from fools than fools from the wise"

my saying....

"unless it's fatal...it's no big deal."
sums it all up for me!

Hmmm...

one of my favorite sayings is "it is what it is". I know it's stupid, and I've been told by DH that John Fox (head coach of the Carolina Panthers football) says it a lot, but it's so true. If it walks like duck...

I love sayings and quotes. LOVE them! I guess that is what you get when you are a journalism major. You tend to love words.

I've been digging reading your blog every day. Thanks for doing such a great job and really keeping that inspiration pouring in!

I read yesterday's post and I really appreicated it. I am timid. Scared to enter contests. I find it scary to put myself out there. But I am building that dream. I have it but I am almost still afraid to say them out loud. And I appreicate your words. A lot. A real lot. Thanks.
As for my favorite saying I think would be "to get down on your knees and pray and then get up on your feet and work."
(Oh and Thanks for the valetine hearts too!)

I don't think I have one favorite. I do wish I could easily think of the perfect Bible verse for each page I do - maybe one day!

Hey Wilna,

I think the quote that I'm going to go with today is:

"Sometimes we need the most care when we seem to least deserve it."

Not sure who said it or wrote it but it seems to hold true.

Have a wonderful day!

Yesterdays post reminded me of this one.

This has to be my fav saying, it's so cute too.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!"

Enjoy!
