learning curves and creativity

Somehow, someday, I will figure out how all this works. At the moment, I am surrounded with paint and paper snippets and stuff. I am also on .Mac to learn some new things there. Technology are suppose to make the world easier. Right? Wrong. Well at least not for me at the moment. I really wish the learning curves was a little easier and less time consuming. Anyway, here is a pic of a page I did for Kirstin's 8th birthday. Especially for my blog. That's part of my frustration. I never get to show my new stuff on here. It's always for this and that and never to be shown publicly etc. etc. (the picture is just bad - sorry. I AM slapping my hand, ok?) So, the girls decorated cup cakes and here is a pic of the girl in the dress and showing the cup cakes. I took a zillion pictures this weekend and printed 146 of them. Now I going to make a zillion pages. HA! I also did the sweetest project for the class this weekend at Just scrap-it in Saskatoon. (insert somersault here) I love those women and can not WAIT to join the fun this weekend.

Ok, so now you know I am still alive and breathing. I got some new (cheap) paint bushes this morning (only to embezzle/destroy them!!) I know, I know! It's the spring feeling.

Love!
Wilna

Kirstin's dress is beautiful! Katie was totally in awe of it when she saw it on Sunday haha!

Hope you had a good weekend! We sure had a crazy weekend, but I think you've heard a bit about that already. God is good! In the course of a few days we agreed to buy a house and we also sold ours. My head is spinning with how fast it all came about and truthfully it's still a little unreal. I woke up Monday morning feeling like I really wanted to go back to sleep for about a week or so. So much pressure relieved and I'd like to just sleep haha! Of course that's not likely to happen. However, I have been taking it easy. No more going crazy trying to have the house ready to list...we won't be listing! I look forward to getting possession of our new house so we can do some work on it before moving in. Hopefully as early as June 1st...

Anyways, it has been busy around here. I'll be busy with Epicure this week also...so life is good! Busy, but good!

Hello Wilna - this page is GORGEOUS! Looks like she was a very proud girl! They grow up so quickly just enjoy every moment as I am sure you do! It is also nice to scrap for yourself sometimes instead of being ON SHOW! hehehe that is what comes with being a celebrity! Have a great day until next time - claire

It's good to challenge the "nugget" and to destroy a few paint brushes now and then...feeds the creative monster within!

=] Can't wait to see what comes next (plus, I love the page, it's great)!

Absolutely beautiful!!! Your girls are going to love looking at these sorts of pages when they're older...although I'm sure they love them now. :)

Kirstin is growing to be quite a lovely young lady. I've been infatuated with corrugated cardboard too lately. But I have a question. Are you just cutting up a box, or is this specially treated acid free corrugated and if so, where to buy??
