a rainy day.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed very early (I am more of a night owl than a morning bird) to watch the tour de France. It was a very stressful stage as it was raining and there were quite a few crashes. Lance Armstrong and I chat on twitter you know, and he said it was all well. George Hincapie tweeted that he had a crash but said I don't have to worry he is ok. I told him he is a hero. don't tell him but note I didnt say he is my hero, just a hero. Lance is my hero. But I wont tell George that i am sure it will hurt his feelings. I did tell Lance that tomorrow I (and probably Jaku too) will be shouting at the TV for him. Tomorrow they go into the mountains.

did you know that Lance made a come back to the tour after a 3 year hiatus. And he is 0.00s behind the current leader Fabian Cancellara. I must confess that I do feel the chatting is very much one sided though. But I choose not to be offended. they are riding the TDF after all.

And ALL this I wrote because I wanted to say it's raining here and that thought lead to the TDF where it's also raining and they were in Spain today: The rain in spain stays mainly in the plain.
he-he.

I did this page yesterday. I was most definately inspired by Christine Middlecamp. I am sure all of you saw her tutorial on ali's blog. That page of hers is magnificent. I am so excited to be making pages again. Yesterday I got a whole box full of Making Memories papers... their brand new Christmas papers. I know! Christmas in July! They haven't even been released yet. So today. It can be Christmas in July for you to. I will send a box of happy Christmas papers for one happy person. Leave me a comment and tell me something!

I am really in a mood to scrapbook right now. I have wonderful peacock feathers. mmmm....

A thought for today: 2 Peter 1: 1:9 (Mirror translation) If anyone feels that these things are absent in his life, they are not; spiritual blindness and short sightedness only veil them from you. This happens when one loses sight of one’s innocence. The moment one forgets the tremendous consequence of the fact that we were cleansed from our past sins, one seems to become pre-occupied again with the immediate sense ruled horizon, which is what short sightedness is all about; this makes one blind to His blessings. (Spiritual realities suddenly seem vague and distant.) 1:10 Therefore I encourage you to make every conscious effort my Brothers to become cemented in the knowledge of your original identity revealed in the Word; fully engage these realities in your lifestyle; if you do this you will never falter. (Or get out of tune again in the context of verse 5, lit. to fall, lose height, to stop flying.)

I love this. Remember that you originate out of God! (Jer 1:5, Acts 17:28 and Gen 1:26)
Have a wonderful day!

So nice to see you post again. I love the thoughts you post from scripture. I will email you for the link. As far as the rain, it finally stopped here...for today. Tomorrow it is supposed to come back:o( I know what you mean about Christine Middlecamp's pages. I have followed her blog for a long time, her attention to detail is awesome. I have to go get something together to take to a crop I am hosting at church tomorrow night. Thanks for the inspiration and the RAK opportunity.

We have been having lots of rain too around here (Gatineau, close to Ottawa. We are having a new house built, we bought rain boots (mine are pink and purple paisley!) and went to the site yesterday. We walked around in the mud, I thought I was going to lose my pretty boots to the sucking mud. I felt like a kid playing in the mud. Of course, we forgot the camera! They started the roof today. Christmas in July, like at a campground! I vote for Christmas everyday!

Christmas in July in Australia is regularly celebrated, to get the northern hemisphere Christmas feel, celebrated with snow, warm food and snuggles infront of the fire place
Have a great day

I do like your newest page very much!

"Christmas" in July! That must be a special feeling. Now you know how the season/weather can be when the Australians celebrate Christmas...
I'd like to win and start "scrapbooking" for Christmas :-).

Although the TdF takes place in a country next to the one I live, I follow it only in short version over radio or newspaper. But even so it can be interesting.

And right now we get some sunshine and I send you some through to Canada! Hope you enjoy it.

My something to tell you is that my Grandma passed away yesterday, but she is with the Lord. We are having a celebration of her life and her homecoming to Heaven, not a normal funeral that is very sad. How can you be sad about someone going from suffering and pain to the arms of Jesus?
